I moved in the Sand Castle nearly a year ago. This is the absolute worst building I've ever lived in. There are people begging for money in the hallways, ashing their cigarettes in the hallways the hallways wreak of [Removed], elevators are never working (trust me you will get stuck in there). The walls and ceilings are unbelievably thin so therefore you hear everything your neighbors are doing. It's a nice building, great location, maintenance staff is super duper helpful, security as well. [Removed]. I would NEVER, NEVER recommend this building to my worst enemy. Building management is of absolute no help what-so-ever. This is THE WORST building in the Rockaways! If one is looking for an apartment on the water in Far Rockaway look elsewhere NOT HERE, TRUST ME!
