I was lucky enough to find the Quai House when I needed to move my mom from New Mexico. I had looked at several larger facilities and was not happy with what I found. The Quail House was the perfect place to move my mom into. It's beautiful for starters, the care she received was outstanding, the staff was exceptional. My mom was there for over a year and was never in need of a thing. I was able to communicate with all the staff at any given time ad they were extremely helpful if I had questions. We would take dinner on the holidays and be able to celebrate with the staff also. They did serve great meals to the residents and kept them active during the day. I am so thankful to all the staff for the wonderful care they gave my mom.

The staff are amazing! It is a very clean community. The staff are great at communicating with the family. My loved one is very happy here. It is a smaller community with around 10 residents. They do tend to alter the meals based on the residents requests.

We really like that the Quail House is less hectic with less people. With it being a smaller community it made our loved ones transition less overwhelming and easier. Based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to others.

We really like how The Quail House is very family orientated, we could come visit our loved ones without any restrictions which was huge. The activities are still very limited but luckily families are still able to come visit. The one improvement that could be done would be about the meals. Initially there was supposed to be a chef cooking the meals but at times it is just pizza and bags of salad. We brought this to the directors attention and it was handled immediately, they re-educated the staff members. They could just have more nutritional home cooked meals.

Visiting a friend made me wish Quail House was around when my parents were alive. The beautiful house is near where stars such as Robert Goulet and Jerry Vale used to live, the neighborhood and grounds offering a taste of old Vegas "ranch house' neighborhoods before the city spread into suburban tract-house sprawl. It's a true 'group home' with shared common areas such as the kitchen, which may not be for everyone. But there's plenty of room to spread out as well - especially for those who make use of the outdoor and gym amenities. The staff is great and very attentive.

I spent about a month at Quail assisted living rehabbing from surgery, and it was as wonderful an experience as could be expected under the circumstance. The staff was top-rate, friendly and helpful which made a world of difference and the surroundings were wonderful as well ... plenty of shade outside to beat the Vegas heat plus a nicely equipped separate gym to keep myself fit. The days slipped by nicely and food service was always prompt and tasty as well. Great edible options tailored to taste made a positive impact, as did a putting green, pools and pathways just to wander a bit and feel independent. Truly a comforting experience. I wish the folks at Quail nothing but the best, and want to pass along a word of thanks for their great work.

A Place for Mom has scored The Quail House Memory Care 9.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
