I'm extremely pleased with them in that they do exactly what they said they were going to do. And I like the care system here. There's a set price, and they do whatever needs to be done. The other places we looked at had a base price with add-ons, and I couldn't get anybody to answer what was the highest pricing can go. So I appreciate the simplicity of the billing here. I feel like the owner really cares about the people here and takes a personal interest. It's obvious this is not just a business to her. It's her livelihood, and she really takes an interest in the people. It's a smaller community, which I like. Whatever food they bring in looks so good, and my loved one tells me it's good. Based on the other places I visited, it's no comparison. The owner and cook take personal pride in putting good meals out for the residents. The owner personally makes the menus and shops for the food. They seem to offer a lot of activities, and they do a good job of encouraging the residents to participate. I've seen puzzles, music, lots of different things. There's a decent variety to choose from. Overall I feel like we're getting everything I expected for my loved one to get, and also everything we're paying for. And you can't ask for more than that.... Read more

[name removed] (owner) doesn’t care about the safety of the residents. The floors were dangerous and in need of repair. She had duct taped them together to avoid paying to fix them. Many times they are short staffed and not following state guidelines for the staff to resident ratio. No activities are done. My mother was very unhappy

The facility looked very nice and homey, but the women that was up front was slightly rude and seemed bothered I believe she was the administrator she gave me a quick tour all I could smell was Smoke because of the women giving me the tour. It just was not a good first impression. The facility did look very nice and well decorated.

We chose The Oaks at Fairmount because I was looking for a long time and I was looking for one she could afford and we would not have to sell her house but was still nice. The Oaks fit the bill great. The room sizes are smaller and they do have shared bathrooms, but they have options depending on the mobility of the person, the better the room the more it costs. It is a smaller facility, maybe 30 residents and the owner and the administrative staff are very conscious of the furniture, it is really a nice place that has a homey feel. They decorate beautifully to match all of the seasons. One thing that they could improve on would be feeding residents' diabetic needs. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

Great place for my friend who has been a resident for two years. Not fancy, but that's not what he wanted anyway. Very responsive, caring, and kind staff who some times go above and beyond. Safe, clean, and welcoming environment. I can rest well at night knowing he is living there where he's cared well for and is happy.

My friend has been here for two years and we are very pleased with it. The owner and staff are responsive, caring, patient and often go above and beyond for the residents. We appreciate this very much as I am all he has, and I live out of state. They are very welcoming and inviting. It's not fancy, but he wasn't looking for fancy any way. Food is tasty, although they don't offer entrée choices and sometimes my friend can be a bit picky. It is a safe and clean home. I definitely would recommend it. I'm glad we found it at a time when he was very much needing a new place to live.

I loved this facility and felt instantly at home here. [Removed] is passionate about her residents and provides a loving and special place for them. The only room that was available was downstairs which we felt would not work for our mother even though there is an elevator. It is a small but warm and inviting.

This community is working out well for my mother, and her needs. She is still taking some time to adjust with her move to this community, but I do feel comfortable with the care they are providing her with. This is a very nice community, and they are doing a good job with taking care if her, and her needs. Any issues I may have they are quick to address them. The owner is very nice, and has been great to work with. It is a community I would recommend to family, and friends.

The food at this community is wonderful and they offer snacks during the day. This is a smaller community and a good cost compared to others in the area. They have a Licensed practical nurse on staff as well as most of the time they have a Registered nurse. They also have a doctor that comes in to visit. They offer a lot of activities and they take the residents to church. I have already recommended this community.

It is wonderful and my parents are doing great. A Place For Mom's organization did a miracle for our family. It was a super hard and I have never done this before. The move in worked great. The owner drove to Tennessee to talk with my parents. I think it is a wonderful community and we are very blessed.

We have had Mom living at The Oak's for over two months now. We could not be more pleased and relieved. I felt an immediate connection to the owner who met with me and gave me a thorough tour and breakdown of the facilities amenities, activities, care services and most importantly introduced me to all the staff. What a jewel. I felt genuine caring energy that I prayed for because my Mom is 103 years old and my most precious sweetheart. I can sleep well each night knowing Mom is safe and lovingly cared for. What a blessing.

Most unprofessional home I visited. Had my mother all set up (paper work signed and dr sheet in there hands)for a respite visit and one week before she was supposed to move in she called and said they accidentaly rented her room out.

We really liked it. We signed the paper work and had everything in order and one week before my mother was going to move in they called and said the accidently rented out her room. Not a place I would send my mom.

This community is beautiful, clean, and actually smells great! I was surprised after having toured some other care homes that there wasn't any unpleasant odor. The staff and the residents are friendly and you can tell everyone is happy here!
