I have the privilege of providing musical entertainment to residents at Riverside Harbor. This gives me the opportunity to observe the services and facilities in real time. It is obvious to me that those who live there enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The staff members are attentive to the needs of residents and care for them with respect and compassion. Visitors are also given immediate and helpful attention. If and when my own family members need full or part time care, The Lodge at Riverside Harbor would receive my recommendation without reservation.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was a very nice tour experience, the staff were very friendly, the community itself was very nice and the apartments we were able to see were really great in size. However the location for our family was just to far for us.

Our family had an in person tour and the staff were wonderful, they did a great job taking us around the community but they had a certain fee that needed to be paid like 3-6 months beforehand and our mother just did not have the money.
We are very much impressed with the administrator there. She goes out of her way to give the residents an exceptional lifestyle and home. All of the staff are very attentive and friendly, not just to the residents but also to the residents' families.

We chose The Lodge because our doctor recommended them to us and it has been a great fit for her. They know how to change her thought pattern and distract her pain, they have been great with her care. The room sizes here are very nice, they all have walk in bathtubs. It is a very casual setting, everyone is polite, and staff are very attentive. It is a smaller facility, only 15 residents per house so there is better individualized care. I would recommend to others looking.

My father has lived here for the past year and a half. During that time we have been very satisfied with the facility and its services. [Removed], the general manager has been very responsive to any issues that have come up. [Removed], the intake manager , has been another bright spot in dealing with issues and day to day management. All of the care staff have been wonderful. Without exception, the caregiving staff have provided warm, calm and personal concern for taking care of the ongoing needs of the residents. My only concern is that there was no provision for emergency power backup during a winter storm. I am hoping that the owners are working to correct that. I would recommend The Lodge to any families looking for a small, personal touch Assisted Living faciilty. [Removed] daughter of resident

I would give activities a negative 5 if I could. There aren't any activities, no mental stimulation, no physical movement, nothing. Sit and die is the thought process at this place. It stinks as people sit in their own urine all day. People can come in and out, totally unmonitored. Not safe. There is not enough staff. The owners are in it for the money. They will lie to your face without a problem.

The staff are attentive and helpful. There is sometimes a lack of communication between shifts. My grandma is involved in the community. She is eating well and they keep the community well taken care of. This community was the nicest as far as amenities compared to other communities we looked at.

Seems like a great place. Warm atmosphere. Mostlly friendly people. Clean. Helpful staff. Only negative so far is that there seems to be a lack of communication at times between staff/shifts.

The staff are very good and helpful. They do have some turnover. The kitchen staff have done exceptionally well in working with mom's diet. They have plenty of activities to meet our needs. The community is clean and I would recommend it.

My mother is a very picky eater. They are so accommodating and she has put on 2 lbs in her first month.

The good reviews sound canned. For those with parents there, at first, people seem happy but eventually there are complaints about individual staff members, lack of care, incidents, food quality, etc. The meals are not nutritious. It might be soup and a piece of bread for dinner. The only transportation provided is two doctor visits per month, and even that isn't guaranteed. The facility is understaffed and promises of active communication, careful attention and good hygiene are lacking. There are a few good people on staff but residents seem neglected at times and the staff needs to be trained to work with the elderly. Ignoring or ridiculing seniors with mental and/or physical disabilities should not be tolerated, especially given the cost of care. It is difficult to find a good place for your loved one. If possible, I would encourage you to speak to the people who reside at any facility, or their families, to find out if they are truly happy there.

So many lies from the owner and manager when looking for a place for dad. They promised they would do therapy, never happened. He went down hill so fast because no activities to keep him engaged in life, moving around, thinking. Unbelievable how we were lied to on this. No transportation so they don't go anywhere. They just sit, staring at a tv. Don't put your parent here. Don't believe the owners lies.

This is a smaller community compared to the other one's we saw, but it isn't overwhelming for my husband. They really make you feel like family here, everyone is very friendly and happy. The facility is wonderful and spotless. It is very well-kept. The staff has been welcoming and kind to us. They truly are great here and genuinely care about you and your family. I would highly recommend for anyone to come to take a look at this community.

The food is good I would give the food 4 stars. There are activities for the residents. It is a good community that I would recommend.

They have been awesome. They are very attentive and they are all friendly and make my loved one feel at ease. We had several people come out and do their assessment and were accommodating. It's kind of a family-type environment and we are really pleased with where she is at.

I think they are doing a really good job. I don't think we could ask for a better place for her. They are very helpful and informative. They work well with us and keep up on what changes she needs. They have made medication adjustments. There is one cook in there that's a little bit rude, and thinks she does a super job, and she's not. Everyone else is doing a really good job. Around Thanksgiving, they were having a lot of turkey. Other than that it's a really good place.

Place is clean, and care is ok, although they are way understaffed! There are little to no activities so the residents just sit in their rooms, and give up. It's sad. There isn't an activities director, and very few activities, mainly bingo. =( They need to step it up and get the residents mentally and physically stimulated. Look around, there are other places who keep their residents moving, thinking, busy doing things and living what's left of their life, instead of just letting them wither away.

I would recommend it. Of all the places we visited, this one was clean, nice, and the staff was great – my only concern is the doctor doesn’t come around to check on patients enough. There may have been some over medication.
