My Mom is not thrilled with the food all the time but most of the time. The CNA's are great. They are fun and pay attention to the needs of my mom. The staff are all helpful. The other residents have enjoy trips to sites in the area. My mom just won't go. There are many things family can do when they visit.

They are shorthanded and unable to provide promised services. Supposed to have DTV but only 47 channels. Cannot record, program, pause etc. Food is terrible. Supposed to pick up trash daily. Often don’t. Employees are great in spite of not being paid enough.

My Dad moved to The Landings on November 7. We started moving him in November 6 and visited several times before to measure for furniture and such. He moved from a farm less than 15 minutes away. I was happy when staff came up to him while he was moving in, asked if he was sleeping there yet, did he need any help, etc. Just very aware of residents and what they might need. My husband and I spent a lot of time at The Landings and had several meals. Food was good and dining room staff very in tune with residents—offering different foods, different portion size, things like that. Laundry says wash and fold. Dad’s clothes came back on hangers, as he likes them. He hadn’t talked to anyone—they saw his closet and just knew. The only thing I see coming up in the future is the billing and dealing with long term care insurance. I don’t think the facility provides assistance in that area. Overall, really pleased and hoping to say the same for many years to come.

Our loved one was previously a resident at The Landings at Reed Station Crossing. This facility was great, it just wasn't the right fit for our loved one. The Assisted Living side was fantastic! The Memory Care unit was less than impressive, as far as their accommodations. We would have loved to have been able to keep our loved one on the Assisted Living side and they tried. However, my loved one's needs were progressing to Memory Care.
Response from The Landings at Reed Station Crossing
November 22, 2023Thank you so much for your review and your thoughts. We will continue to work toward making The Landings the very best for your loved one.
The cleanliness needs improved in the hallways, they don't always show up to clean the room. I think they are working on it. Food is not very consistent. I've been overall disappointed with the freshness and not providing more tasteful, balanced meals. I would say we like the location and overall the newer building not having a "nursing home" feel.

I enjoy the apartment size and storage space, c; cleanliness and the knowing I can get help quickly if I need it. There are varied activites and residents enjoy. Lovely outdoor space to rock, swing, visit and park car ( if you drive) and walk areas.

There's no other place around like The Landings. It's a beautiful building and so much to offer; from a salon, spa, theatre, workout room, garden, pond, and lots of sitting areas and activites.

I toured the facility a few weeks ago. I was looking for a place for my mom. This facility stands out above all that I visited. Very clean, friendly staff, meals are very good. Would highly recommend!

April 26, 2023Thank you for your review.
We are very happy with our apartment. I had room for us to bring many of our family treasures. Also, storage is adequate. We have been here three years and have many friends among the residents. One outstanding problem has recently developed. They have gone to a standardized food menu. The menu is standardized and repeated on a five week repeat. It is overloaded with starch. It's over money at cost of taste.

April 26, 2023Thank you for your review. You are very appreciated.
My husband and I have been here for four months. I do most of the care for my husband. He is the one who needs the assistance, but mainly her gets a bath and occasionally he gets help. We do get laundry and trash pickup (occasionally we do it) the staff does what it can to help but then people need more attention.

April 26, 2023Thank you so much for your review. We look forward to a continued great relationship with you.
What sticks out most about The Landings at Reed Station Crossing is the way the staff treats the residents, they treat them like they are family. The main reason I chose this facility was because they also offer memory care - so if she needs that in the future she just has to change rooms and wouldn't have to move facilities. I would recommend this community to others.
