The Inn has been a wonderful home for my grandfather. The staff are friendly, professional, compassionate, attentive and treat my grandfather like he is their own. The facility itself is pristine! I am amazed at how clean and orderly the common spaces are every time I drop in for a visit. The residents have so many options for entertainment. From interior common spaces (movie theater), cafe, games, happy hour to field trips - residents will never be bored. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this facility and the staff. My grandfather is happy here and speaks of the staff as if they are his own family.

The staff at The Inn at Ashland Woods are wonderful. They work 12 hour shifts, I always see the same staff. They call me by name and I call them by name. They are so so friendly! They can always tell me how my husband's day or night has been, they communicate so well to me. I am a Nurse Practitioner, so we communicate well even on a nursing level. I provide my husband care when I want, without rules. I can shower him, toilet him and put him to bed etc without any issue which, of course, is important to me. They involve me in decision making, which I love. The move in process was smooth. They had to refurbish a room that they were using as an office, but re-did it quickly without any hesitation. It is the perfect room for my husband, they heard what I was asking for. I would and have recommended The Inn at Ashland Woods to others.

I was aware of patients going into each others room like my aunts. I would tell others to be expected to be exposed with memory care. They don't force you to get dressed or interact until they feel patient is ready. After 2 months push patients more. To get dressed etc. Go to meals with others.

It was a very good tour experience. The facility was very new and modern. They did a good job of following-up.
We picked this community because, they allow pets. It's a smaller community. My loved one likes the building, and the view. One thing that could improve, is the food selection. Overall, we are happy.

I wouldn’t recommend this place! Most of the employees are great and caring! A few including the director have no respect or empathy for the residents that they supposedly assist their living too! For how expensive it is you’d think (especially the director) would care a little about their residents instead of merely making money!! ADDITIONALLY my mother better NOT be retaliated against just for MY OWN OPINION!! It’s not my decision she is there!

The facility is very clean and the staff is wonderful. The staff will go above and beyond to help with any of our requests. There are many activities for the memory care unit clients. I like the fact that they have a big room where the clients can sit together watching TV, getting their hair styled, finger nails painted or coloring.

We chose The Inn at Ashland Woods because of the cleanliness of the facility, the friendly and knowledgeable staff, and it is a smaller place so there are less residents. We had a bad move in experience, my brother and I moved all of her stuff in and when my dad came with my mom, no one was around to help us out. My mom is very active and the staff do seem to have a hard time with that as well. The rates have just been raised again, so if you are budgeting that is something to be aware of.

I would recommend going there. The reason I selected The Inn is because I can walk there in 5 minutes. The staff that I've met have been wonderful. My loved one likes the food. I think they have a lot of good activities, but she hasn't been very interested in participating. I don't believe there's anyplace else that's cleaner or more efficient.

We chose The Inn at Ashland Woods because of the value for the money compared to others we looked into and also the facility itself is just absolutely beautiful. Everybody here was and still is so warm and friendly. It is a smaller more intimate setting so staff really get to know their residents. They do not confine them to their rooms, the are able to come and go as they please. I do research and read reviews before I make decisions and they have a 5 star rating as they should. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

I would tell others that the nursing staff is phenomenal. The staff give me updates on my loved one. They took the time to get to know my loved one as well. Another good thing about the community is that whenever I go visit-all the staff that deal with my Aunt, they are good at knowing who I am. They show they care by giving me updates in person about what she did for the day. The entire staff from the director on down are very caring. I've never had any of the food, that is the only reason for the lower score. The food always looks good and smells good when I visit my loved one.

Everything was fine for us. It was a nice place. It was different than a nursing home. I would rather be here, as it was nice. The staff tried to accommodate the food selection for our loved one.
