Response from The Forum at Town Center
October 8, 2024Thank you for your kind words, Francine. We were happy to hear that our team was able to work through any issues you had during your mom's transition and she has now settled into her new home at The Forum at Town Center. Our team strives to provide a supportive environment, and it's wonderful to know that she’s already made so many new friends. I have been happy here. The staff are super friendly.Food ranges from good to very good. Always lots of choices and plentiful. I don't partake in activities by choice. But I have recently started exercise classes and love the instructors here. I appreciate the transportation to medical appointments as I don't drive. Also, the location is great as I am in walking distance of stores including a good sized mall. If there is one thing to improve, it would be housekeeping services. They are good as far as they go but it's mostly superficial.

July 25, 2024Thank you for your feedback! We're delighted to hear you enjoy our friendly team, food options, exercise classes, and transportation services -- and that our location is perfect for your needs. Your input is much appreciated and we look forward to continually improving your experience here.
The apartment is roomy and comfortable. Pets are allowed. Good variety of activities. He likes the pool for exercise. Dad does not like the dining. It is often closed due to shortage of wait staff. He has to go get his meal in a bag and take the food to his room. He says it takes a long time when dining hall is open. He has not like choices on menu much of the time, especially the fact that they seldom serve beef, he feels portions and choices are more geared to women's taste.

July 3, 2024Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am the Executive Director and was happy to read that you dad loves his roomy apartment, our many activities, and exercising in the pool. We are always looking for feedback from residents regarding our dining services, and ask that you encourage your dad to attend our monthly meetings so we can hear directly from him. Thanks again for your input and for being part of the extended family at The Forum at Town Center.
Staff was nice however a few staff members would get too involved with my mom and even give her their personal cell number . My mom was having some attitude and mental issues and would tell the staff things that were not accurate and instead of coming to me they would try to help her with personal manors.

Good place with lots of activities for residents and transportation to and from shopping and appointments. A little patching and paint would make this place be so much more inviting. Facility has pool and fitness center.

Our team continuously strives to enhance the community and your input on those efforts is appreciated as we always strive to earn five-stars in everything we do.
The staff work well together and care about the residents. The CEO, [name removed], however, does not get along well with either staff or residents. She tries to run the facility like an autocrat, so the residents are forced to take care of each other when the facility could have been involved. There is a very positive atmosphere which prevails. People make positive remarks, smile and greet one another in the hall, and help each other out. The hot tub was useful as a way to reduce pain. The food preparation/organization is excellent.

Moved here sight unseen from out of state in December 2021. I learned about it through A Place For Mom. It was a tough adjustment, but my family had worked with the staff to make the move as easy as possible. I am really happy I chose The Forum, due to the quality of the food, the caring staff, and the feeling of community here. The pool was a big plus for me and there are plenty of opportunities to get and stay strong. They go out of their way to provide many opportunities for learning, worship, and fun. After talking to people who moved from other facilities, I am so glad I chose The Forum, as I feel I am getting good value for my money.

April 25, 2024Kay, we're glad you chose The Forum too! It was wonderful to read that your transition to The Forum has been such a positive one. We are glad to know that so many aspects of life at the community -- the pool. delicious meals, ample programs -- have been everything you were looking for. More importantly we were thrilled to see your kind words for both our team and for the sense of community you have found at The Forum at Town Center.
I have lived here for 9 years. The atmosphere is if friendship, learning, experiencing, listening and activity. The food is delicious, the number of activities and excursions is exceptional. If a resident has an idea of something new to do, the staff makes it happen. Spacious rooms and lovely setting.

April 19, 2024Marge, we're delighted to have been part of your journey for the last 9 years. We're glad you enjoy the vibrant atmosphere filled with friendship, activities, delicious food, spacious rooms, and a commitment to always look for ways to improve.
My loved one was previously a resident at The Forum. It was very very expensive, about an average of 8% yearly rent increases. The food was not good. Staffing didn't care. Maintenance was okay. The facility is worn and old and needs new carpet, paint. Smells bad in the hallways. The 2 bedroom that my loved one had was nice, but we had to pay for new flooring and to have it painted before she moved in.

February 14, 2024I am the Executive Director and was disappointed to read your feedback from your loved one's time at The Forum. I would welcome the chance to speak with you about your experience and find out a bit more about when they lived here as our entire team is dedicated to exceeding resident expectations. Please call me at the community at your earliest convenience and hope to speak with soon.
This is the best place for seniors. We are treated well, listened to, and kept as busy as we can be. We have a huge variety of activities. The staff are kind and helpful. We go on outings. We are taken to Dr. appts and shopping. If one is bore dhere, it's not for lack of their trying. And the food is great.

Response from The Forum at Town Center
June 2, 2023Thank you for your kind review of our community. We are delighted to hear that you and your wife have enjoyed working with our friendly team. Creating a warm and welcoming environment is one of our top priorities, and we are thrilled that you have found the residents to be exceptionally friendly as well. We're honored that you chose The Forum at Town Center as your new home and we look forward to continuing to provide you with a wonderful living experience.
They have some very positive pluses: I have a full kitchen and a washer/dryer in my apartment. I don't know how I would function if I did not have those two items. On the negative side: there's no garbage disposal or dishwasher, although some of the apartments have those at an extra cost. I'm just doing the best I can within the parameters of my budget. My apartment is roomy and cheerful. And they shampooed the carpets, completely repainted, and had it all ready for me when I moved in. Maintenance is quite slow though. And there seems to be some short-staffing issues in several departments. However, when I imagine how little their profit margin must be, that's understandable. And my rent did not go up. So I think they're doing the best they can with what they have to deal with.

Our family had an in person tour and we absolutely loved The Forum, and we were so disappointed when our loved one wasn't going to be able to move there because of how progressive her health was at the time. It is so nice with great big accommodations. Everything was just fabulous we would highly highly recommend this community to others. There were tons of activities, our loved one even on the tour participated in the exercise class. The Forum just feels like home.
Read MoreThere were certain aspects that were good. I liked their accessibility to different things. My loved one also knew people that lived there already. But the facility is a bit dated. They did a great job on follow-up even after we selected a place. They would call me on a regular basis to check up.
We chose The Forum at Town Center because of the size of the apartments as well as the amenities that are provided within the apartments and the price was good. My dad said the food is ok, but he doesn't not rave about it. The staff members are very aware and attentive to each residents needs. I would recommend them to others who are looking.

We did a virtual tour with the community. It was very nice and the staff was friendly, they answered all of our questions and tried to make the virtual tour as good as it can be. The community did fit our needs due to the pricing
check out the community thoroughly before signing on. I would not recommend this community to others.

Due to the bug I would say not to come to this community. They've cut down on activities that there is hardly anything for us to do. The food isn't good. I'm sorry I'm here. They are allowing us to eat in the dining room again. The room is too small for me, and has a tiny kitchenette.
