It's fine for what it is. The management changes a lot, at least 4 directors in the last 2 years. There was a godawful smell in the halls for the past 3 months that was so bad I vomited upon entry but it seems it was a city water issue that may have now been resolved.... Read more

When there is staff, they currently have no manager and haven't for a while and they only have one maintenance person so requests take a long time.

On the day I toured the apartment, filled out the application, wrote checks for deposit, I was told office hours are 9 to 5...I brought bank statements the next morning at 9am...nobody was in the office...I called and left a message that I'd come back about 10am...I actually came back at 10:30 and still nobody was in the office, so I left. She called after I had driven back home. In conclusion: office hours are whenever someone shows up. SO unprofessional. I still love the apartment and will still move in, but my attitude towards management has vastly changed.

The Community Apartments is a beautiful place - super clean, and all of the residents are so friendly. They welcomed my mother-in-law in so quickly and she had instant friends. We couldn't be happier.

There are no meals/dining provided because each apartment has its own kitchen. some areas of improvement would be better communication from the manager, how to get ahold of them. This location specifically has had a lot of turnover and even the other residents that have lived there longer have said the manager is hardly ever there even though hours are 9-5 or similar daily. Social media presence would be great for those of us who just want to see a little of where our parents/grandparents are living and I would also mention the amount of homeless people lately and car break ins. More security presence is preferred.

It's in a good area, with everything you could want around you. It's a good value, probably the best apartments in the area with that look (modernized). All the people who live there are very nice, but the managers seem like they don't want to be there at their jobs. The managerial staff is pretty much never there, but the residents are friendly and open to help however they can. There's one employee that is a resident as well, and he has been great.

Loud gatherings in the lobby until well after 11:00pm. No masks social distancing practiced or enforced. A dangerous practice with senior tenants with underlying health issues. Barking dogs with dog waste that attracts flies. Peeling paint, insects, cracks in foundation. All this for over a thousand a month.

A Place for Mom has scored The Community Apartments at Antioch Crossing 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
