The Arbors at Westridge Place

The only reason I would give this facility one star is because zero is not an option. This facility is the epitome of over promising and under delivering. They advertise themselves as specializing in dementia care. This claim is simply ludicrous. My Mother in law was placed in this facility because of the low patient to staff ratio and the promises of all the incredible services they offer. First she escaped from the facility multiple times and had wandered almost a mile away one time and had to be recovered by law enforcement. Hygiene is deplorable. She soiled herself one time, was discovered cleaned up but when I went into the bathroom where the incident happened an hour later there were still feces on floor, wall etc... I had to ask a staff person who was sitting and relaxing to clean it. Her meds were not administered one time for over four days which was literally life threatening. Food service is deplorable. Bologna sandwhiches for dinner on paper plates when we are paying over $4,000 private pay monthly. Staff turnover in every area is incredibly high. We saw 4 different nursing directors in 2 years with horrific follow up in every instance. In conclusion the only reason I am writing this review is to try and help others from falling prey to what I believe are at best misrepresentations of their services and capabilities and at worst the facility and staff could be construed as liars and [Removed].
