The sales person is very good, but prospects should ask detailed questions. Why does it take so long for meals to be served? Many people have hearing deficits, so conversation is difficult. The noise level is high. The food leaves much to be desired: too much fat, way too much salt, high in carbs. They sometimes run out of a main offering. Understaffing appears to be a mealtime problem. Housekeeping is minimal. The move-in process was without help.

My father is very happy with his senior independent living. His apartment is the perfect home for him in this new phase of his life. He has met new friends, is active, & is content.

They take good care of me and they are concerned about my welfare. I enjoy the meals and have made many new friends.
New management is involved and always helps when needed.
It's a great place. I've made a lot of friends. I like that I can still have my freedom and ride my motorcycle.
I live in this community and it is great
If you would like your loved ones to feel neglected and taken advantage of this is the place for you. Ridiculous prices for a tiny apartment that has already had 2 water leaks, 2 gas leaks, and bug infestations and this is just 4 months in. When reporting the second gas leak to the office said they would call right back and never did, leaving the elderly, handicap person to figure out the gas leak all by herself. The food is horrible, not just the quality of the food but the portion sizes. A member of the management team caught without a mask, said she didn't need to wear one because she already had covid. With the pandemic of course they cannot offer some of the things they offered before however, that doesn't stop them from jacking up the prices on the poor old people who are too sickly to move out while offering limited amenities. This place is the biggest scam ever. If you love your family member I would not feel safe leaving them at Iris Place. This place has caused so much stress for our loved one and our family.

April 13, 2021Hi Meg, in speaking with the local team they confirmed that this recent situation was reported and responded to immediately by their team and the gas company came out the day of to get the issue resolved and the gas was restored the next day. We would like the opportunity to speak with you further about any additional concerns you have, please feel free to contact the local team directly. Thank you
Iris Place is certainly worth looking at for your loved one. The location is good. Overall it seems to be a good place. The food that I had was good. I was able to eat there twice. The room was good. They had a courtyard in the back of the community.

Our family is more than pleased with the safe and fun environment at Iris Place and that was before the pandemic. Being able to come in as her daughter asa screened caregiver has been the best modification they have made to quarantine. My mom is safe, well nourished, and so happy. Especially since her favorite social activities - daily exercise and Sunday church service (with masks) are tentatively resumed.

Iris Place is an older building. They is only have one elevator. The staff are good hearted people. There is a lot of outdoor space available. The room sizes are okay. The food is not nutritionally appropriate.

The people are very helpful in providing plenty of food. The food is sometimes not as good as I would like for it to be. I don't eat the food as well as it should be.

A Place for Mom has scored TerraBella Epps Bridge 9.1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
