The staff at Summerfield Senior Living of Gulfport are very friendly, they are also quick to call the family with medical emergencies and are just so well organized and put together. As far as the food score goes, they do eat a lot of the same things over and over again. I think offering more variety of options on the menu would be good! I would absolutely recommend Summerfield to others looking.... Read more

Found Summerfield for my 79 year old sister, who had been by herself for several years, with little interaction with others. From first visit, she absolutely loved the place! After move in, she loved it even more. She rarely answers my phone calls anymore, because she is so busy with friends and activities. Summerfield took a big load off my mind, as I live 600 miles from Gulfport.

This was a clean community with nice staff. It felt disorganized and didn't have the family atmosphere we were looking for.
[name removed] is very committed and it shows with the other staff members. [name removed] is the activities director and is great at creating activities for the residents to participate in and outside of the community. The grounds of the community includes a pond with fishes and turtles, and there are horses and cows for the residents to be near. The property is amazing! The food offered is good for the residents. There is transportation available for the residents to use for field trips, shopping excursions, and more.

It's a good environment for independent living. The residents get the feeling of living in an apartment and being independent. The studio is small, but it's neat and clean. It's an enjoyable place with plenty of activities.

The staff and residents are exceptionally friendly and that really sticks out to me. The food is amazing, the meals are chef prepared and you get 2 choices off of the menu for each meal or you can order al a carte. There is something going on all of the time activities wise. I am in a studio apartment and it is perfect what I need. I would definitely recommend Summerfield Senior Living to others and already have. I am very well pleased with my experience.
