The staff that interacts with clients is absolutely amazing. So caring, compassionate and supportive. They make sure the clients are treated with dignity. I would recommend them to others looking, but I would caution them to make sure of what the final cost per month will actually be.

The food is best described as "meh" but mom likes enough of it. The regular staff is very nice. The nursing staff we've had some issues with (some attitudinal stuff, making mom wait for a long time for ear drops without communicating why). She likes the activities but notes that on weekends it's like a ghost town. She also complains that she makes friends and then they disappear. I understand with HIPAA there are things that cannot be disclosed, but wonder if there's a way staff could convey if someone has died or has relocated just so it isn't so mysterious/upsetting. Overall, I think nearly everyone there is doing their best given the limitations of the system.

Response from Stratford at Beyer Park
September 16, 2024Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are glad to hear that your mom enjoys the food and that you find our regular staff to be very nice. That said, we welcome an opportunity to earn a better review of our culinary offerings from you and ask that you please feel free to contact our Executive Director, Nicole Rodgriguez at (209) 236-1900. We take your comments about the nursing staff seriously and will address them accordingly. Your input helps us improve our services for all our residents. Thank you for trusting us with the care of your mom.
They do not do ANY house cleaning besides taking out the trash and cleaning only the bathroom. They do not provide enough quality protein in any of their meals which is critical for senior citizens as they are older! When my mom ended up bed bound I thought charging an extra $3000 on top of what she used to pay an absolutey exorbitant cost for a non nursing facility. Mom one time left food in her walker storage and forgot and nobody checked it till I found it a month later disgustingly green and moldy. (Not healthy for a senior on oxygen.). They're always saying it's hard to find good help. I doubt it cuz what they're milking the residents for they could pay their employees more. Some of the employees were super nice and professional others not so much. One med tech would just leave the medication for my mom when they were supposed to make sure she took it.

Response from Stratford at Beyer Park
September 16, 2024We take the feedback from our families very seriously and welcome an opportunity to discuss the issues your loved one has experienced. Please feel free to call me, Zachary Buchter, Regional Vice President of Operations at (209)608-8668. Again, thank you for sharing your concerns.
My loved one was previously a resident at Stratford. When we had to find a place for my dad in less than 48 hours, they were recommended to us by a friend. They did not disappoint! [Names removed] made things happen so fast! They gave us a ton of guidance! Sent paperwork to Kaiser and kind of did a lot of the legwork. I would recommend them to others.

The staff is friendly. Some of the rules seem unclear/unreasonable. The housekeeping is excellent. Very efficient. The move-in process was easy for the resident. He felt very welcome. The meals are very good. They try really hard to make the vegetarian residents happy. Improvement - management of medications could be revised. Overall, yes I would recommend this facility to others.

My dad is currently a resident at Stratford at Beyer Park. This facility has been a great place for my dad. He is making new friends. He loves the food. He also loves the service and care. He enjoys Friday Happy Hour with music. Everything at this facility is great! I would recommend Stratford at Beyer Park to family and friends.

We needed a place immediately and this is the only one we toured. We felt it was the right place for her. The generations staff took excellent care of our mom during the last month of her life. We couldn't have asked for better care. The only negative was the interaction with the administrator on the day mom passed. Her only concern was that her room was not completely cleaned out even though what was left was not ours. Also she never once offered her condolences over mom passing and in fact it was never mentioned!

Dad is a new resident, and everyone went out of their way to make sure Dad was made to feel welcome. They watch out for his safety and comfort, and make sure he is well fed and gets meals he enjoys. He is also enjoying having other people to chat with and share memories with. It has been a great relief to the family to know they “have his back”, as the saying goes.

Our family had an in person tour with Stratford at Beyer Park and it was amazing. The facility. The staff. Everything. They have a family kitchen area so a family could share a meal. The main reason we didn't select them was that we realized my husband needed a different level of care.
The staff goes above and beyond! Always trying to help. The facility van trips are wonderful. There is van service to and from doctors offices and shopping. Our friend is in the smallest room. It is enough space for a twin bed, tv, dresser, chairs and a small table and a comfy chair for watching tv. It also has a kitchen sink, microwave and small refrigerator. There are mounted book shelves in the room. She has control of the room temperature. A laundry room is near by. There is always fruit, cookies, coffee and hot chocolate at the snack bar. Happy hour and live music gets everyone snapping fingers!

Our family had an in person tour with Stratford at Beyer Park twice, and we thought they put on an excellent presentation for us. It was one of our top choices for our loved one
It was really endearing that one night as we were eating dinner with my mom did the owners [name removed] or [name removed] ( I forget) and [name removed] walked around and greet us and introduce themselves and wanted to know how moms stay has been and if there was anything they could do to make her stay better and how she was doing. That told me they cared. I appreciated that.

When I toured this Stratford at Beyer Park I didn't feel as comfortable as another community I toured. Also, Stratford did not appear to be as caring as the other community I toured.
What we like about Stratford at Beyer Park is that they believe in keeping communicating with the families that are involved. I get a lot of communication from them which is good for me. Based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families.

My loved one enjoyed being there and having the other residents around to interact with. That helped him improve a lot. It's a nice, bright, cheery place to live. It was the best place for him at the time that he needed it. And I liked all the staff I met. They were very friendly, helpful, and encouraging.
