Our loved one seems quite content, as much as she can be. She says the staff are very kind and good to her. It's a beautiful place. In that respect I'm happy. Our biggest complaint is that we don't get enough feedback as a family that does not live in the area. We would like weekly or monthly feedback on how she's doing. And when we reach out to them, they tell us that they want the family to come and visit - which we would be doing more often if we lived in the area. Other than that, so far it has been very good. I toured with St. Andrews Memory Care and was not impressed. I thought the layout was bad for those with memory issues. There are so many hallways and it is multiple levels - very easy to get lost. I am not sure how the staff are able to keep their eyes on the residents. There is also no easy access to the outside. The facility was not clean at all. The people were all very nice but overall I was disappointed, it did not meet our needs.
St. Andrews Memory Care spoke to me and I truly think it was a God send and it has been an amazing fit for my loved one. The facility has a church attached to it and it has a rich history which we really liked because we are religious. The staff have been really good with communication to the families. I was reserved at first and did not know what to expect since we have never been through this process and I actually stayed there for a few weeks in the beginning and it is a great place all around. Some of the staff have been here 20 plus years so there is not a lot of turnover. We are very pleased.

It is in a former historical building that has a chapel in it. It was a place where nuns resided so it is very spirited. That may resignate with some more than the new modern building designs. They did a good job retaining the original character and quality. The staff have been great with communication and I have had no complaints. They do have a fair amount of turnover, but I know that happens everywhere. I would recommend them to others looking. They have 4 floors and one of the floors is an isolation floor so that if someone has any type of sickness, they get moved to that floor so they wont have interactions with the other residents. That is hugely beneficial especially during covid times and gave us a great sense of security that they have a plan in place. They keep all floors separate so there is not mixing with other residents, only the ones that are on your floor.

I did not like this community it was awful. The tour guide was great but I don't even know how she can be positive about this community. It was the most depressing things and the pictures on the internet do it no justice

It's an exceptional gorgeous historical building with a wonderful staff of people. I'd recommend this facility for anyone with family that suffers from dementia in need of assisted living care. Good food, clean and healthy atmosphere, great staff what else could you ask for!

The entire staff work tirelessly to care for the residents. I've personally witnessed the staff purchasing clothing, shoes and treats for the residents. It gives me job to see such compassion bestowed upon our residents.
