Springs Ranch Memory Care

Very friendly staff, excellent care, nice living environment.

Both my mother and father are living at Springs Ranch Memory Care. We are so grateful for the leadership and staff at this facility. They are very experienced and on top of things 24-7. They call us regularly when anything happens that involves either parent and they make sure both our parents are treated with dignity and care. They know all the residents by name and are always friendly. The staff turn over rate is very low here. That says a lot. That is one thing we looked into before placing our parents in a facility. Whenever we call, they know who we are, who our parents are, and are always happy to update us and answer any questions or help us work out any problems with mom and dad. It’s always clean, they have a great medical staff team and there are plenty of activities for all levels of residents. If you’re looking for a place for your loved one, I would highly recommend Springs Ranch Memory Care.

After 3.5 months, we know more about the day-to-day operations. Our impression thus far is basically good with several exceptions. Most staff in all departments are warm and friendly. The facility is very nice. Generally, the food appears appetizing and is always plentiful.. The bathroom area in my mom shared bedroom frequently looks dirty, with smeared feces on the toilet etc. Many of my mom‘s clothing have disappeared and has never been returned . My mom is supposed to have baths twice weekly , but when I visited on shower day this week , she was unbathed with dirty hair! It is difficult to tell when sheets have been washed. My mom’s bed is poorly made , wrinkles have not been removed and frequently the blankets have not been tucked. I have frequently removed, cleaned, and changed my mom’s colostomy when I’ve been visiting because it has not been done when it is full. My mom is red, itchy and sore in her private areas, and doesn’t seem to be getting given her medicated cream.

I just transferred my Dad here this week. They offer a variety of options to fit your loved-one’s needs and go into great depth in explaining the processes. In my Dad’s situation, the upset to his life came about very quickly and unexpectedly. Since I am not able to care for him in my home during his recovery process, a Memory Care facility was necessary. The rooms they offer are great in size and they also provide all the necessities, which was a huge burden off my shoulders since timing was of the essence. Additionally, several engaging activities are offered each day, which my Dad was instantly interested in. Each time I have visited, the staff is courteous, the facilities are clean and the residents look happy and very well cared for. [name removed] has been, and continues to be, an amazing resource through an incredibly tough process. I highly recommend reaching out to her if you are needing information and guidance.

I have a few specific complaints: Food is pretty terrible. His room and bathroom are never clean when I visit. They keep losing his stuff. But otherwise my family member is well taken care of. It's a good place overall.

The high turnover can only mean one thing. Poor upper management. Staff seems to fake niceness and caring attitude. Don't be fooled by fake caring staff. The staff isn't very concerned about all patients.

I would tell others that the administration lacks overall. I believe the community is short staffed as a whole, in combination of the pandemic made things a bit tricky. We are still waiting on a refund after nearly 2 months. It would have been nice to have condolences from the administration as well to the family, after our loved one's passing. The caregivers are very caring and are wonderful to work with. The follow through could be improved, and the admittance could be improved as well. Both could have had time to reach out to family as a way to improve. The food seemed more intuitional. They had lots of activities for the residents to choose from. It seemed there was always something going on for them.

They will care for residence while bedridden but that's about it. If you need more medical care this would not be the place. I would recommend this community if the medical need is low and you can afford it.

My brother has been living at Springs Ranch for two months now. We are more than pleased with his care and feel the staff has more than met our expectations. They are kind, compassionate, and give the residents the best care they can provide everyday. My brother is happy there!

Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, professional, caring, and helpful. They provide the support and assistance that the resident and family need.
