My husband and I have lived in our two bedroom Independant Living Apartment since mid September 2018. I cannot honestly state that the bad outweighs the good. Of course, there are always little inconveniences that occur periodically ... but that’s simply a part of living. We adapt, and are blessed to be able to do so. I’ve noted the menus contain assortments of nourishing foods to afford us with the best possibility of good health. Too, I’ve not had much that wasn’t very palatable. The residents that I’m fairly well acquainted with are all open and agreeable. Never let it be said, though, that there aren’t a couple of ‘old sore heads’ that nothing could improve their attitudes. The personnel at this facility seem ok, you know not every place is going to be perfect, but this location is pretty darn good in my opinion. I would probably recommend this community to others, their staff team and nurses seem to care and they try to assist you as much as they can. They are knowledgeable and they know what they are doing. The food there is pretty good as well from what I have tried. As for the activities, as far as I know they are ok. I do not know how the other communities’ activities are so I really cannot say anything in comparison. The staff team keeps everyone updated fairly well however. Most of the information about the events or activities gets disseminated through a daily news sheet that is readily available for the other tenants there. All in all, with the condition that I am in I am as comfortable as I can be.
