The team at Spring Oak is the best! They always take time to answer questions, listen to concerns and reassure me when I have concerns. Having both parents at Spring Oak can be very difficult, but hearing "We've got this" and "It will be okay" really helps during the hard times. I couldn't do this without your help! Thank you for being there!... Read more

I would never put another family member in this facility. my family member was supposed to get bathed twice a week, she was lucky to get one a week. they only changed her sheets when we complained about them not being changed (over 2 months). administration didn't seem very interested in residents.
Lovely place-newly floors-paint-beautiful décor-staff very friendly-many improvements-residents seem happy and content.
Since the management change at Noble , we have seen such an improvement with my mother. Her depression has lessened and she's participating in activities such an improvement!!
Staff are very pleasant. Facility looks amazing.

I have been very happy here and have excellent staff who take care of all my needs. We have fun activities every day. We have maintenance who fix and decorate as we ask them to. The meals are good. I do like the other residents.

I toured Noble Senior Living and was not impressed. The staff here were nice and the general manager seemed very experienced, but the facility itself was outdated and seemed dirty to me.
Everyone is friendly this place has a home like feel

After my mother passed, my father sat alone in the house for 4 years, sinking into loneliness and depression. English Meadows saved him from that. He has been there for three years already and is healthier & happier than the day he got there! I'm glad we found English Meadows!

I was not impressed with this community, it is old, run down and the rooms were very dark and drab. Even the furniture in the rooms was old and worn out. It was like an old VA Barrick. I will say that the staff helping me with my tour did a good job showing me around and they were able my answers questions. I would not move my dad here.

Person at desk was confused when we showed up for our scheduled tour and had to go looking for someone. Unattractive inside and out. No nice outside areas. Inside seemed cramped. Lighting poor inside, and color scheme dark. Activity schedule not as extensive as elsewhere. Limited menu. Looked like a bad high-school kitchen. Food spilled on floor when we passed through dining area was only partially cleaned up when we came back through. Stale odors in rooms we were shown. Will definitely not move my Mom into such an unattractive facility.

A Place for Mom has scored Spring Oak at Christiansburg 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
