The independent living apartments at Solarbron Pointe far exceeded my expectations. The apartments are full size and my family member can still get extra help when needed. It's nice to know someone is in the building all the time in case of emergencies too. The meals are top notch and there always seems to be a nice variety. The staff goes above and beyond to take care of the people that live there. The director even sends letters to the families to keep us informed--this has been very reassuring we made the right choice given we're currently living through a pandemic. I would recommend Solarbron Pointe to anyone.

I looked at the Terrace which provided Assisted Living and Long Term Care options. The community was in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees, a lake and flocks of geese. They had Medicaid certified rooms, but were full at this time so my brother was put on a waiting list without a definite availability date. The Medicaid certified rooms were small and only semi-private.

Severely understaffed. My mother got sepsis in their care from a wound that was not cared for properly. The staff kept lying to us and saying that she was in good health and progressing in rehab. We finally got the truth when it was all too late and my mother was rushed to the hospital on our demand. If you want somewhere that has the time and ability to care for your loved one, Solarbron is not the place. I hope to make this so that no one else has to go through what we have. The pain of losing a mother is the worst feeling in this entire world. Especially when she still had life to live. There is no replacement. I would say that if someone needs long term care or long term rehab, this is not the place!

Our Mom was there less than 2 days before we moved her. In that short time, she had 2 -3 falls, was found in feces and urine. When we received the call after the first night there that she had fallen, the nurse was laughing. This facility has new ownership. Everything is different. Watch out for your loved one

Do not place your loved one here. The old reviews for this facility are very misleading. The property has been purchased by a new management company and is not the same. The level of care for a patient that has any kind of extra care is extremely lacking. You, or someone else will need to "babysit" the staff to ensure medications are given in a timely manner and basic needs (such as changing clothes and bathing) are met. From what I have been told, this was once a 5-star facility, however it is no longer close. If you have a loved one that needs minimal supervision, maybe this would be an ideal option, however we have not been impressed and will find another facility for our mom as soon as possible.
