We enjoyed the tour, the house smelled clean and looked great. I love the residential home setting. Caregivers were very attentive to other residents and family. And a plus the owner offices here

It starts with a good owner and that transcends down to the entire staff. They are very caring and great with the patients as well as their families. I highly recommend Avendelle Royal.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. My Mom complained a lot about the fact that they were running out of food. The building didn’t seem very clean to me and the dog they had would go to the bathroom in certain spots all the time. They had 8 residents with only 2 people to care for them, but the caregivers that were there did quite well with what they had. The location wasn’t ideal for me either

My mother died after only 5 weeks at Lavendelle. The caregivers were awesome and compassionate in everyway. HOWEVER, I paid $4200 plus $1,000 fee for the first month and then a huge $4200 for 1 week. Then their corporate people refused my refund for the remaining 3 weeks that we did not need their services. They tell me now, it's their policy to not issue refunds. Had my mother been there several months I would have only expected a refund for weeks not used. Now I feel cheated out of a portion if the $1,000 fee as well. Please read small print that they said I had signed. I based my conclusion on past home stays where refunds were given. Corporate is has NO of integrity as advertised. Can you imagine paying for services NOT RENDERED...at a whopping almost $10,000 for 5 weeks of care.

I thought this community was fine but I didn't get a good vibe. It would have not been a good fit. The room was nice and a good size. The person I toured with was good at letting me know what they do and what I would need. The dining room was very large and the residents were talking to each other. I felt he would need more help when eating and the community was not in easy location for the family.

Excellent. Nice facility. Friendly staff. Secure, clean, large rooms. A bit costly; just over my budget. Will definitely consider this facility when the time comes.

I am glad we found this care home. My loved one was treated very well. They were very accommodating with the meals. The caregivers are very well trained and attentive. The home is clean, however I think the outside could use a little upkeep. I would recommend this care home.

One area where they could improve would be to get the people more involved int he activities. Other than that it has been an all around excellent experience. They are well staffed and their staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is great. It's a very clean and nice place. They genuinely care for their residents.

As far as we know it's going very well. She is happy there, and that is all we could ask for. It's clean and the staff is friendly. We don't have any concerns about that. We haven't eaten there but she isn't complaining. We think they are an excellent facility.

We chose Lexington Place in a time of crisis, and during the tour they put on a very good face. The facility was extremely clean and well kept, and the staff all seemed very professional and knowledgeable. However as soon as he moved in things started going downhill rapidly. He was using a walker when he arrived and within a few days he was completely zoned out in a wheelchair. He had issues with combative behavior during the transition, and I think they overmedicated him. I noticed many of the residents appeared to be in a similar state. The biggest issue here was the lack of compassion. Everyone was very businesslike and professional, but the attitude we got from both the caregivers and the administrative staff was cold. Whenever we tried to bring up and address any of the issues with his treatment or care that we were having they responded very defensively and with an attitude that did not give us confidence in how they would deal with their residents. The hospice nurses we had visit my loved one at the community also reported the staff being uncooperative and unprofessional. We moved my loved one out after only a short stay here after he took a turn for the worse, and he unfortunately passed away not long afterwards. The facility never contacted us with any sort of condolences. Any questions about a possible refund for the large amount of money we paid for such a short stay were answered with "Read page so-and-so of the contract you signed." Our experience with Lexington Place was a very negative one, and I would not recommend them as an option. I'm sure they are capable when it comes to care, and the facility is clean, but the complete lack of compassion really soured the whole experience.

It worked out really well. When she moved in, my mom seemed to be improving. The help that we got locating Lexingon Place was a great help to my family.
