I called this facility one time. The person I talked to seemed to be having a conversation with someone else. The whole conversation was disjointed and abrupt with few answers to my questions. The gentleman called me 5 times after that asking me what I wanted, as if I had called and left a message. When I told him that I hadn't called him since our first conversation he, again, seemed disoriented and began to ask me who I was. He called me one last time and asked me what I wanted???? Then he thought that I lived next door to him, I live in Fort Worth Texas, and then he abruptly told me that my mom would not be a good fit for his facility. TOTALLY confusing gentleman who I would not want my loved one to live under his command. I think he would be better suited for a rehab center than adult care.

When we toured Serenity, they had their trained staff 24 hours and seemed to have a good system in place. The home was clean but it was also very old and it looked like they had converted a double carport into the home, which there is nothing wrong that. The people seemed to be on top of things and they had references. The living room was small as well.

The house is always very clean and tidy. Caregivers are really wonderful with my mom. She feels safe and cared for at Serenity

My husband is doing well at Serenity. This is a small care home and the people that work there are nice. I have not had a chance to be there during meals but he does not have any issues with the options. While they do not offer a lot of activities they do help him keep up with his exercises. We had a few issues but the staff are quick at addressing them. I am glad A Place for Mom was there to help.
