They could approve on All of the above. Low on staff that actually has direct access to patients.

I wanted to share our experience on our recent moving of my loved one to Sea Brooke Point. We found that it is beautiful, affordable, and the perfect balance of activities, meals, and accommodation. The staff has been wonderful and we have found that they offer so much more at an affordable rate. Thank you to [name removed] and all the staff!

I wanted to share how well everyone at Seabrook Pointe’s Assisted Living has taken care of my mother. This week my mom took ill late one evening. The workers recognized it quickly and we were able to get her to the care she needed. Seabrook was in contact with us and the healthcare team to provide seamless care. We felt supported and their care for my mother was genuine. Throughout her stay at Seabrook, they have sought to meet so many needs from physical therapy to mental health support. We all are so happy, I would highly recommend Seabrook Pointe.

After doing extensive research I moved my family member to Seabrook Point a year ago. It was by far the very best decision for her! She was welcomed by the most caring and attentive staff imaginable. They have made her transition from home to assisted living so easy. She is treated like Family by everyone there which is the most precious gift they could give! I have recommended this facility to friends without reservation and will continue to do so!

Seabrook missing a great opportunity to make residents more active. The Spanish Fort Community Center is 12 minutes away and we COULD be involved at least a couple times a week where a plethora of activities await residents.

Staff is unavailable at the least. No communication, they do not answer or return my calls. The move in process was okay. The meals leave a lot to be desired. The housekeeping is minimal. I would not recommend this facility!

Response from Seabrook Pointe
December 15, 2023We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us and are disappointed you feel this way. After speaking with you multiple times, it was our managements understanding that your real concerns were over affordability and our inability to discount lease payment requirements. Although we tried to find some common ground, it became apparent that no solution besides altering an established lease was going to work for you. We regret the fact we could not find a solution, because we thoroughly enjoyed caring for your mother and felt like she thrived while living in our community.
The administration and staff at Seabrook Pointe work tirelessly to ensure your loved one is well cared for and has the quality of life they deserve. My Mother is a resident of the memory care center and a recent stroke victim. She has access to on site physical and speech therapy, and the entire facility supports the needs of memory care patients. Her room is large and we were allowed to outfit it with her own furnishings to suit her needs. It’s home for her now, and I have peace of mind that she is in good hands anytime I have to travel for work. I’ve attached a few photos of special events, as well as daily life, but go see it for yourself.

My loved one attends PT and absolutely loves the staff. The food is not good. There is no documentation on how they assess level of care. The way they administer medication has been concerning at times. The support staff is very good. My loved one really likes the aides. I wish they had better communication with the family. I am sure if I was closer it would be easier. Maybe if the family would discuss how to communicate from the beginning it would be better. With having many siblings, it is hard for them. Maybe a progress report or update by email would help everyone to be informed.

Seabrook Pointe might be an excellent facility for assisted living but they fall short in memory care. Mom was there for 2 weeks. Mom has dementia and they didn't have the trained staff to redirect behavior. The sent mom to a hospital 1 1/2 hours away on a Sunday to a behavioral unit. The unit didn't have a bed and I was told I could let mom stay in the ED until a bed opened up. One, I'm not going to let my mom stay in an ED longer than necessary. Two, we ask them not to transport mom anywhere that we were on our way. Three, no one in administration reached out to us. I had to show up to get answers. Four, No one could give us a straight answer on what took place. We were told she threw a plate to she shoved a plate. I had to pay for additional medication because the facility had miss placed her medication (90 supply). I ask upon her admittance into the facility... did I need to bring her medicine earlier... did I need to sign something stating how much medicine was brought to them. The answer was "no". They need to work on procedures on admittance and check list. I would not recommend Seabrook Pointe for memory care.

My experience has been good and bad. Usually they are pretty good with the patients. But they have a huge turnover with employees. I just feel that they should notice if something is not right, I shouldn't have to ask to do a urinalysis.

It is nice having an on-site therapy here at Seabrook Pointe. However they could improve on the personnel staff turnover

What sticks out most about Seabrooke Pointe is the friendliness, staff always available, protection of our loved ones (covid etc), activities were good, Food was GREAT! I cook a lot and the cook staff took pride in the meals! Last, identifying the need to be moved from independent to assisted! We chose them mainly due to the availability and of course the cost.

I would do it again for my loved one... it was a very refreshing experience for her. She liked the size of the apartment, as well as the size of the bath. She could come and go. And the common grounds and eating areas were nice.

A Place for Mom has scored Seabrook Pointe 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score.
