There was a huge gap in communication which left my brother with zero care for a week. The care that he received from hospice was very satisfactory, even though he was not the most pleasant and did not want company, but I think his family needed to know more about his care than we were told. There were things we could have been doing for him that we were not aware of. I ended up trimming his toenails giving him lifting him off of his bed and onto his wheelchair and onto the toilet and back again which I'm 75 years old and that was very very difficult for me so I don't know whose fault that was it could've been his fault because he did not want anybody a stranger to touch him.... The people are very nice and caring at the facility. When they don't forget the schedule or to bring items their care is good. I feel if I'm paying for a service to look after my father I shouldn't have to remind them to give him his medication. They have lots of activities for the residence, but at times they tend to lock them down as punishment or send them to the rooms if they're having special events. Their dining situation is a challenge because they've undergone new management and drastically increased pricing because that is their main focus instead of taking care of repairs and cleanliness which is what needs to be done. It seems now they're only doing leaks and things of that nature because individuals from the city and inspectors have come onto the property.

This place is awful. They never clean, patients are suffering and staff doesn't do enough to help, the employees are both rude and ignorant, they charge alot but its like living in prison..no TVs, no phones, no buttons for nurses for the residents in emergency if they need to reach them downstairs...it looks like they never clean, they are not compassionate with the residents...its like they just want money but dont care about the residents. Read the google reviews theres so many complaints...all these people complaining cant be lying! Yet instead of being professional about it and helping the situation improve the owners are ignorant and rant on arguing when people make complaints like big bullys! The owners need to take responsibility stop bullying people like big bullys and instead start fixing stuff here! Theres alot of problems here and thats ignorance on the owners and staff they cannot except their flaws and just fix the problems!!!!!!

The bad reviews are true. Management is only concerned with the dollar while ignoring residents, condition of entire building, safety hazards, its staff etc.The caregivers do the best they can, even though they are understaffed. I have seen them work multiple shifts, still caring about the residents. Management could learn something from them. Mold, roof leaks, filth, rodents, outside deck is falling apart, safety issues not being addressed.Focus is all put on the Rebranding. You can rename a bucket full of crap, still going to be crap with a different name. 30yrs in the construction trade I can see the repairs needed and they are costly.Alot has to be done to bring building up to code. They only focus on cosmetics.Repairs needed don't jive with there overhead. Can't believe this place is still open.Ive seen schools shut down for less untill repairs were made. They hide behind Title 22. I am currently educating myself on Title 22.

It is a very nice facility. When I took the tour. They said that they can handle all of the needs that my loved one needed. Turns out they couldn't. They wouldn't even help them get out of bed to go eat. So they would bring food to them which cost me a fee each time they did that. For assisted living they do not have any certified nurses. They have the nurse title but don't know anything about being a nurse. They could not care for my loved ones medical needs.

My loved one says they have a good chef, and the food is excellent. They are coming along with the activites, and my loved one loves Poker. They have Bingo, exercise, art/crafts, and bring outside people in. The value for the money is excellent, and it's affordable. They are pretty prompt, if I have any concerns or issues. My loved one has thrived, since being at Villa De Anza. They do laundry, clean the room, and offer three meals per day. They really do go the extra mile.

Villa De Anza didn’t look like they were up to the level of care and comfort that we were looking for.
The staff is amazing! They are extremely helpful, friendly, but sometimes they do need to pay a little more attention to detail. Things tend to not get done as quickly as they should. The facility is very nice. The price is exactly right for what you are getting - you are not getting top notch. It is not the most amazing place, but it is a very nice facility.

We had a great tour experience with Villa De Anza, this facility came in to a close second place for us. The facility itself was very clean and nice, but it was more expensive. As far as long term care goes, it did seem like they were better equipped for additional care if my loved one were to go downhill.
We had a nice tour at Villa de Anza. There weren’t as many options available regarding types of rooms. But the admissions person was really friendly and helpful.
They are having quite a few staffing issues, and continue to keep changing weekly or every two to three weeks. They need more staff that stays on board and would be better for the residents. The food is sometimes good but at other times is not. Consistency is not great in the kitchen.
My brother likes the food. The facilty is really clean. We have had a good experience, and he has made friends. I would recommend to anyone looking for place. The nurses is very good. Overall, my brother is very happy.

When my dad first got there, the manager on-site (he) was very friendly and understanding of our situation. The situation being, my dad leaving another place to come there. They worked with me, they helped me out with moving him in, and they helped me out with his passing.

The point of contact, [name removed], was fantastic. The facility constantly goes above and beyond expectations. The space that my father-in-law has is significantly bigger than we were expecting and we feel very comfortable and confident with them taking care of him. They truly treat them like they are family. They've been able to help with his dialysis needs and make sure he's in good hands.

We had a good tour at Villa de Anza. I liked that they had a very large dining room. And the gentleman who gave us the tour seemed to be up-to-date on all of his information. But it was just too far away from where we live.
My father lived at Villa De Anza for 4 years. The staff was more than very attentive and friendly. He was always treated with compassion and respect. When he moved in it took a few months to get the billing correct, but after that was straightened out, I have no complaints. For us, Villa De Anza met our needs and was the best answer for my father in his last years. He was happy there and felt very secure and comfortable. I am thankful for the staff. I believe most are committed & work very hard. Many of them are long term and have a sincere heart for the residents.

You get what you pay for here. The administration makes up for the poor quality of staff. There were multiple times that my loved one didn't get the care they deserve.
