It is a very nice facility and served the purpose of getting my father strong enough to come home. My father was a resident there for a couple of days and when I asked him how it went, he said he didn’t get enough PT time, but he was not there long. He is 96 years old but acts like he’s 80, max. The PT area upset him because he felt like he was around a lot of old people. Other than that, it was a great experience. The workers were very nice and attentive, the food was good and the facility was very clean. The dining room was not available during his stay and he had to eat his meals in his room which led to isolation but that couldn’t be helped. My father is pretty self sufficient so I can’t speak to the availability of the staff but he said everyone was very nice. So I would recommend this facility for someone who needs minimal care but don’t know about someone who needs a lot of help. My loved one is perfectly happy with the meals. The staff is friendly but I have not had a good experience. I think their communication with the family, especially when the family is out of state, is non-existent. They don't do what they say they're going to do, especially in regards to contacting me.

They need to be more attentive to their patients. My loved one had to wait a while to go to the bathroom. She is only allowed showers on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so she can't get a shower for five days. I've had no communication.

Oasis rehab was excellent but nursing and physical plant left much to be desired. Call bells can take 45 minutes to an hour before they are answered, an extremely long time if you are unable to get to the bathroom unassisted. Light over the bed was out and remained so for my mother’s entire stay (over 3 weeks) Bed should have been in trendelenberg but slowly sank down and was not fixed despite numerous requests. I don’t know where the CNAs hide but they are almost invisible. Definitely would not recommend this facility- their care borders on neglect.

It was what I expected. They have too many patients for the staff. They have a name tag they wear and they turn it around so you cannot see their name. They are short on nurses. I saw a chameleon go up the wall. The food was okay. They do not volunteer anything and if I did not say anything I would still be there.

It's happy and cheerful and a good atmosphere. The rehab therapists are excellent and work him 7 days a week. They are very encouraging to him and give him positive feedback which is very important to him. They have very good service. I like the attentive care he gets. The nurses did not follow the care for his condition and instructions were given. I saw no dust, dirt, and it does not smell. It is very clean. He loves their meals!

I think the physical therapy department was very good and helped him recover faster. The nurses were receptive to the things he needed.

The made sure his coffee was hot, it doesn't take much to make my dad happy! He said they were fine.

I do love the staff at Emerald Health. They have a fantastic rehabilitation program. My friend started in the rehabilitation side and once he moved to the long term care side, I would probably put him in a different facility if I had the choice. The facility itself is pretty run down. When I call into Emerald sometimes no one will pick up the phone, and there's no direct line to call to a specific department or person. If no one is at the front desk there's no one to answer and direct your call and there's no voicemail option.

They are friendly in the halls. Other than a select few, they are scatterbrained. CNAs are bad for the most part. Their fish sandwich is just fish and a bun. I am the point of contact and there are people on the paper that I don't even know who they are.

It wasn't great across the board for everything there. Their rehab therapy has been decent. The staff is okay. The nurses are all not great and this includes their attitude as well. The staff is not friendly. While she has been in the facility she had one good meal and the rest she did not like. The communication is terrible.

Medically, they're very contentious and give my mom what she needs. They definitely want their residents to feel comfortable and provide excellent activities. The aides are the least friendly, otherwise, everyone is excellent. It doesn't seem like there's enough CNA's. She has to wait a while when she calls them. My mom has a strict diet, and it doesn't seem like they're making real efforts to provide what she needs for her condition.

She is doing her exercises, and she is feeling better than ever! It's a good place. It's a beautiful place, and I think she is better there. She is very happy. She said if she needs it again, she would come back here.

They're very attentive. Usually, their food is good. It's generally very tasty! Some of the people that do his toileting let him do somethings on his own which he still couldn't due to his condition. They should have a sign or something to make it clear.

The first two days were horrible, but now it is great. I would recommend them for therapy, but they need to make sure all goes well on the weekends and the check-in process needs to be better. She is doing really great with the rehab and they are doing very, very good. The staff has been very good once we worked out the issues. The nurses on Monday thru Friday were great but they were not good on the weekend. She is happy with the meals! The therapist let us know what is going on and they answer my questions.

They have a good activity center for them, and they care for their patients. They could really use more people. More CNAs and nurses, because they are short-staffed, and sometimes you do have to wait. The rooms could really use an update. The food could also be better. It needs a little more variety.

Everyone is great. They have really been wonderful. My loved one is fighting the therapy because of his condition but the therapy team is excellent! The few meals that I have seen looked great! The cleanliness is excellent!

The staff is all polite and helpful. They answer my questions and they are open with the transition. The rehab guys are great and they are very compassionate. They are helping my loved one. Everyone is doing their job and we all have the same goal. They want him to get back up to his life at home. They are all very friendly and are very patient. The nurses are so polite and nice to him. Everything is clean and they mop the floors. The meals are hot and there is plenty on his plate. They are on time and they are nice and they ask what he wants. They let me know what is happening in PT. There are a couple of staff members who update me all of the time. The nurses are so sweet and everyone asks how we are doing and say to ring the buzzer for help.
