We grew up in this area so we love the location, it gives off that small town feel with not as much traffic. We love that they have mystery bus rides where they take the residents to different restaurants for lunch and they also drive around the country for an hour. She really enjoys that. My grandfather stayed here for a short time after a hip replacement. Cannot say enough poor things about this place. Terrible customer service, minimal cleanliness, poor attention to detail. He did not receive therapy services in a way that was promise/prescribed. He was given medication incorrectly time and time again, even after the staff was corrected by the patient and family members. Although he was not on a pureed diet, every meal came pureed. When I asked where I could find sanitation wipes to clean his room, none could be located. While my grandpa was not 100% safe to be discharged home, we left this place prior to recommended because of the poor treatment and concerns for his safety and wellbeing. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

My sisters and I recently removed our mother from Royal Plaza Rehab after being there for a short 30 minutes. The condition of the rooms from the bedding to the ripped up recliner were unacceptable. The smell of feces and urine permeated throughout the unit. The floor and chair handles were sticky. My mother had to use the toilet. We had to wait until the the driver of the van that delivered her could find someone. After 30 minutes we were taking our mother out of the facility with no discharge papers from the hospital because they could not be found.

From the moment i brought my mother to tour Royal Plaza, we felt welcome and at home. Each employee is friendly from maintenance to kitchen to house keeping to nursing to administrative and especially front desk. All our questions & needs are answered. The building is beautiful and easy to get around. During COVID all employees went above and beyond to keep my mom healthy and safe. I am so relieved to find the great apartment and home for my mother!

My husband's mother is at the Royal Plaza. We visit a couple of times a year. After Christmas this year we visited at meal time and his mother and the other 2 at the table were eating cold macaroni and cheese and meager ammounts of dark meat tuna sandwiches. It was sad, they were all disappointed in the food quality and also the cold food. We think there needs to be comment cards on the tables for residents and also that the facility from top down looks at providing more fresh or steamed vegetables. We were very disappointed. We did appreciate however that on Christmas family came and brought a delicious dinner for family to share.

A Place for Mom has scored Royal Plaza of Olympus Living 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
