Royal Palms Senior Living

The second week of September, my daughter and I visited Royal Palms. It was in regards to finding a place to put my 95-year-old mother. We were impressed from the very beginning with our visit. The home was welcoming, and the staff was too, very much. The place was very clean and always is every time I’m there. Mama has been there for almost 3 months now and has settled in very well. One of the deciding factors in placing mama there was the recommendation from the only gentleman that lives in the house. He walked out with my daughter and I and told us that if we decided to leave mama there, he did not think we would be disappointed. He said everyone was treated very well, and the staff was very good to them. That’s when we decided it was the perfect place for mama. I would recommend [name removed] and her staff and their home at Royal Palms.

Royal Palms gets a 5 on everything. [name removed] and her staff are amazing. It is a family-home environment. The staff are caring and diligent. I would absolutely recommend Royal Palms to others looking.

5 stars overall. We have had such a great experience with care of a loved one at Royal Palms Senior Living. It is a wonderful family environment.

My husband suffered terribly and died 10 days after being admitted. He went there speaking, eating and alert. Any time I entered the residents were all seated in front of tv. Sadly alone. He was given baby food and never offered real food or water unless we requested it.. He died 10 days after admission. When I packed his belongings his toothbrush was still sealed in its original packaging. Be careful where you leave a loved one. I will live with guilt for the rest of my life.

Thanks to the caring staff for my husband, his children and I, were very pleased with his care. Friends that visited him were very complimentary on how clean and comfortable they found the facility. I highly recommend Royal Palms for someone that needs individual care and attention in a safe home environment.

Beautiful home. I worked with [name removed] and she was very nice and helpful. The food smelled and looked delicious. The rooms were a nice size and the bathrooms were great for wheelchairs. The staff was very kind and pleasant to be around. The residence I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with were happy being there. We were unable to place my uncle here but if he was able to put weight on his feet this is a place he would love to be.

Very happy with things. Mom was supposed to go to another facility but we shifted gears and took her here. More hands on, more staff per client. Been there a month now and even the home health nurse was impressed and stated that she has never had bed sores or skin issues with clients here. SO..... can't say enough. Mom is always clean, dressed and well fed. Slow paced and quiet most of the time. They even get her up and walking and work with home health/physical therapists. [Name removed] is the best. I'm a nurse and see patients from some facilities that would make you cry. This is almost ICU level care. NO nursing home could compare to the clean, compassionate staff. Wish they were close to my hospital so I could refer more people..... For the first time in months we are sleeping well knowing she is safe and well cared for.

Mom is doing very well since moving here. She is enjoying meeting the other residents around. Most of the residents don't seem to be an active bunch which is a good fit for mom because she isn't that type of person either. The staff is very friendly and nice very attentive. The community is always clean and well maintained. The food is good so far mom seems to think it is prepared by different people but I have been assured it is only one person preparing the food.

My grandsons toured this care home for their father, and his needs. From what they told me their tour went well. They did not have any problems, or concerns about this care home. Location was one of the main factors for us when we were considering where to move their father too. Their tour went well, but we did find another care home whose location was convenient for our families to travel too.

We liked that tour for care at this community. The staff was nice and the community was clean. The menu was appealing for the list of healthy meals. We liked the activities that are offered. We wanted a small community for the care needed. We would recommend that others tour this community for the care of a loved one.

The caregivers we met at this community were nice and informative. This home seemed clean. This home had shared restrooms and we were looking for a place where my loved one would have their own.

At the moment there are new directors in the community. The old directors were wonderful and very attentive. The time that my mother in law was there they communicated very well. The place was kept clean and organized. Meal plans were available for the residents. One of the things i really liked about the community was the great care that my mother in law received.

My mother is doing very well at this community. She has really adjusted well to it. The community is very well-kept, everything is nice and clean. The staff is great, they are caring for my mother very well. They do offer great activities for the residents. The food is good, she enjoys the meals. The couple that owns the home is very pleasant.They really try hard to meet your needs. This is a community I would recommend.
