Rose Place Memory Care

The community is small but very neat, clean, and smells good. The staff is very friendly and have really been very acomidating. The community is also affordable and offers great value for the money. I would recommend this community to others who need memory care based on my experience.

Let me start by saying that I am not one to leave reviews, but I want to let everyone know what a great experience we had with Rose Place. [name removed] and the staff at Rose Place were an amazing help in transferring my mom here. Although I had to physically move her, [name removed] was extremely knowledgeable in helping me understand the process, what my mom needed and what they would provide. This gave my family peace of mind in what was otherwise a pretty complex situation. [name removed] presented an organized and clear contract and graciously answered all my questions. There are a lot of activities going on daily and I know my mom will especially enjoy the games and music. They have really turned this place around since last September. The place is very clean and organized and the staff is welcoming and friendly. It seems a lot of these reviews are old and with the old management. I would highly recommend giving Rose Place a call and checking the place out for your loved ones. They really care about the patients and that is very important to me. I know my mom will be well cared for there.

The residents wandered around which was hard for my mom. Family need to visits everyday to check in with the staff and their family member. The caregivers were friendly and kind. The food was okay and they were able to accommodate her dietary restrictions. Whenever my mom needed something, they would accommodate her.

Good location and nice staff.

My wife is in the memory care getting good care from staff who are always trying their best to make her feel comfortable. I'm there everyday talking to them and we have meetings about how to make it better for her and them. I see them handling the residents as best as they can but I also notice the residents are practically running loose through the memory area. Some training and education on how to handle would be better.

When I toured this facility, it was just awful. The building looked gross, almost like something you would see in the 1970s. They claimed that they were making renovations, but this was not apparent at all.

I recently toured Oasis. I would say, in this case. Do not judge the book by it's cover. I stopped in to tour for my father who has dementia It was a pleasant surprise there was activity happening and the people who live there were engaging and appeared happy There was no odor and it felt like the staff care. the courtyard was beautiful and very nice and inviting. I toured others and this is top one that felt like a home environment my dad wandered out at 3am at home. Oasis has a security gate they said it is a wander guard to keep him safe. managers were so caring and comforting my dad will be moving there next week.

Did not go in. Not in a very good neighborhood of Stockton surrounded by many apartments.

I thought the facility was very nice when I toured and the staff where very welcoming upon arrival. They gave us a detailed tour of there community and answered any questions my loved one and I had for them. The only down fall was there was an awful bathroom odor throughout the complex during our visit I was not impressed by that.

After the new owners took over. The handling of the financial paper work has and continues to be incompetent. Merely faxing two documents every month to the insurance Co. cannot be accomplished. Its either sent to the incorrect Co. or its not sent at all. Which leads to several emails back and fourth. Contacting the insurance CO. for receipt or not.

This is not a community for my mom. It was not clean. It has bugs and smells bad. They could not care for my mom as they informed me they could do. The staff is not helpful and did not help my mom in her bed. The staff needs more trainning with helping patience. I was informed that the community is not licenced.

The experience we had with this place was horrible. My dad was in a wheelchair and didn't have a lot of mobility. Other patients would come in his room, and urinate on the floor (I guess thinking it was their room). When we complained, the owner's response was, "They're harmless". We started looking for a new place right away. The owner had a problem with us bringing in others to do assessments on my dad. We finally moved, and my dad is very happy. He hated Villa Marche!

Community was excellant. The staff was wonderful and my father was very happy with the care he received at all time. The meals were great.

The Villa Marche Residential Care Facility is a great place for people who have this type of illness. The staff is great and helpful. They have a support group on Thursday's that I attend. It is very helpful and informative. In general, everything is good. My overall rating of this property is 5 stars. The facility is very clean and well kept. Everything has been going great. It's just an excellent place.

Did not work out well for us.

I highly recommend this senior residential community to anyone who has been through what we have with trying to care for a loved one that has Alzheimer's and Dementia. He is no longer progressing in the illness and has a bit of happiness everyday. The staff has been wonderful in caring for his always changing needs. Before I was on edge everyday not knowing what catastrophe I would wake up to. Now I am relieved to know my loved one is safe and well taken care of.

A significant family member resides at this care facility and it has been a great relief to have him here. The staff has been incredible in caring for his every need. Every time i visit he is delighted to be apart of the activities. It brings me such happiness to see him this way. The community he is apart of is uplifting and well balanced. The staff works very hard to provide the specified needs of everyone. I am relieved to know he is safe and happy at the same time.

My Mom has been at Villa March for 3 1/2 yrs. During this time she has been taken care of, this is my Mom's home. Mom does not stay in one place to long so when it comes time for breakfast, lunch and dinner food is there for her to eat. The food is large portions, healthy and taste great. The staff is wonderful. The open door policy is not just for the residents but for the family members also. I have never seen Villa Marche dirty, to include my Moms room. I show at various times and days to include after 9pm with no notice and never seen abuse of any sort. The activities are wonderful and to see the residents singing and dancing when the musician's are there is enjoyable, may even say a miracle. Alzheimer's takes everything from your love one so watching them during music time could leave you speechless. Villa Marche offers so much to those that have Alzheimer's. They even offer support for families every Thursday. I want to Thank all of you at Villa Marche for all you do for my Mom and myself.
