The place is very nice. I haven't gotten into any activities, they don't have a Euchre and I play Euchre. They have a variety of food, so most of the time I can find something to eat that I like. They come and clean once a week and they lady changes the sheets and folds them up and puts them back. I have been playing bingo and they other day they had the Henrietta Historical Society that played the guitar and the violin. They had a trip to the Eastman House to see the gingerbread houses, and once a week they have two different bus trips that take you to Redlands at ten and eleven then at 1:30 a bus trip for local shopping. I like this palce because you come into the foyer and there is a separate kitchen with a cut out so you can see into the living room. There is a private dining room that you can reserve for when your family comes.... Read more

Rivers Run has put our lives into a state of severe shock! Add to your list of questions for ANY facility you are considering: "May we please see your financial records and those of your parent company for the last 5 - 7 years?" We did not ask that question and this week, the residents of Rivers Run (including my parents) have been told that as of December 1, there will no longer be ANY support services (meals, transportation, medical support, housekeeping, assisted living support, etc) - the VERY reasons we moved my parents in the first place. They have until January to move or a sign a new lease with less rent but none of the above support services. PROFIT guides everything, including retirement communities. TAKE Rivers RUN OFF you list!!!!!!! And "A Place for Mom" should be asking all the communities on their list about their financial solvency!
