I'm going on my fourth year living at Regency Crest Apartments. Unfortunately, I lost my only sister in 2021 & her daughter, my niece, in 2023. I became very depressed, and I rarely left my apartment. Just this past year, I became involved in many of the resident activities which have been very enjoyable, meeting and becoming friends with other residents. I especially like scrabble on Tuesdays, also Po-ke-no. I highly recommend Regency Crest.... Read more

[name removed] The amenities are inclusive on the complex, always in good working condition and ready for use. The director and Assistant Director respond to our needs and requests promptly. When our adult daughters, they are totally satisfied and impressed with our living situation. We are very happy here.

The apartments were awesome, but way above our budget. If anything changes in our finances, this is the apartment we would move to.

While this community has many activities for those who want to participate, there are many residents who are in wheel chairs, use walkers/scooters and are not mobile at all. The complex is more of a nursing home. There are people on uppers levels of the building that are in wheel chairs and if there was an emergency, would not be able to use the elevator to leave. I think the Dept of Aging needs to inspect the "active " part of the apartment rating systems. EMTs are in front of the building at least once a week. Residents let their dogs go the bathroom on the balconies instead of walking them. Standards are very poor and when reported to the office, it is a mark against the whistle blower. Seniors are NOT respected.

Unfortunately the care of this place has gone downhill. There are multiple sidewalks with pits and cracks that a senior could fall over. The main clubhouse which was absolutely gorgeous now has chipped and dented furniture, and the floor is scratched very badly. In the garden they have not power washed the bricks, and there are missing and broken bricks in the front by their fountain. The hallways are full of dents, and patches, and the rugs are stained. The place is looking sad and old in three years and needs a face lift. The apartments themselves are good, however their appliances are not. The stove is not self cleaning. The refrigerator is the cheapest they could afford. The layout of the apartments are very good, and there is a lot of social activity which is the saving grace. Apartments are very pricey, and for what is being paid here they need to take more pride in the appearance.

My loved ones are very happy here, they found everything that they were looking for! Everyone is very friendly, and the staff are great. The maintenance is always right on top of things and take care of issues quickly the first time you ask. It really is a very nice place, and I'd recommend it to anyone!

We chose it for the location and the fact that it's an active community, so they had a younger mix of residents. They don't have any dining here because they are independent living. They have asked what else to add for activities, they have card games and a movie theatre, and parties for occaisions but that is all. It's a good option for active senior living.

Beautiful place, it looks like a hotel, has three elevators. It's totally independent no senior assistances except it has a walk in shower. I would love to move in myself.

What a beautiful facility. I would enjoy living there ! It doesn't appear to be geared towards very elderly people like my mom.

A Place for Mom has scored Regency Crest 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
