I placed my mother in law at the Rainbow Senior Living and she loved it. The administration helped fill out all her proper paperwork to help set her up with medications, and medicaid. The meals provided were very plentiful and tasted great. We had dinner with her on several occasions. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I am so glad we found her a place when needed... I brought my brother to the Rainbow a few weeks ago. He said that after the staff found out he owned a house they're pressuring him into selling it. Can they do that? Do I need to get him a lawyer? And the place is crawling with bedbugs and cigarette smells. I just want to know what the purpose of him having to sell his house without informing anyone else about it seems a little sketchy, to say the least.

I placed my mother in law at the Rainbow. We loved it. That helped her with her Medicare paperwork and medications. She loved the meals served everyday. The staff was very friendly and always made sure to keep us informed every step of the way.

Administration is lacking guidance and direction with staffing shortages. Communication with Administrative Director never produced positive outcomes or solutions to family requests. Even after several attempts.

They lied at every turn, claimed they could provide the care, then said they couldn't and wanted the elder person gone. Evicted them, and now they claim they have no paper work showing they were even there. Had to call the Police to get their personal belongings.

A Place for Mom has scored Rainbow Retirement and Assisted Living 7.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
