My father was at Princess Cate Home. It was a big mistake putting him there. I was constantly called to assist them to pick him up if he fell on the floor. They would not give him his medications when prescribed and there were times when they wouldn’t give it at all. He was hospitalized and the staff sent the wrong medication list to the hospital and he was given meds that were discontinued long ago. The food was terrible! I was paying $6000 a month and he was being fed chef boyardee. They would not shave him and I would have to shave him. His hearing aids would get lost in his room. They were responsible for them! The final straw was when he almost died of dehydration. I came every other night to see my dad and on a Sunday he was not very responsive,so I had him sent by ambulance to the hospital and when the hospital tried to get urine with a catheter he had no liquid in his body that could EVEN be pulled! That’s how dehydrated he was!! He was reakeased on Monday and I had him out of there by Friday. When he went to the new place and was inventoried his right hearing aid was missing and apparently they stuck his hearing aide mold in his ear to make it seem like his hearing aid was in there. The administrator [name removed] is an awe full person. All she ever did was blame my father a poor man with dementia! All she did was make excuses and take no accountability for the abuse my dad never deserved. PLEASE DONOT BRING YOUR LOVED HERE. The owners also over work the care givers. One of the caregivers ended up in ICU because he was so sick they wouldn’t cover his shift and for days kept telling his stomach hurt and they wouldn’t send anyone to relieve him and that’s how he ended up in ICU. TERRIBLE PLACE!!!

Princess Care Home is fantastic. They were able to provide for my father the home environment, care, and equipment that we could not provide for him at home. The people that run the establishment are knowledgeable, caring, and warm; it’s just where I’d want a loved one to be. The food looked great, and they were fully ready to meet all dietary needs. They knew about everyone’s needs, who could have this or couldn’t have that. They had so many activities like toys, coloring, games, TV, and when the weather was nice, outdoor activities as well. The quality of life they provide here is perfect. Please do not hesitate to use these wonderful peoples’ service.
