We've used the facility at Point Frontier in Cheyenne 3 times for respite while I took a break from full time caregiving. Price has gone up now at Point Frontier. My husband's Parkinson's is pretty far advanced, & I've enjoyed the breaks...knowing he's being cared for, and is safe. The office manager is a lifesaver and really works with you when she's able to!... Read more

Response from Pointe Frontier Retirement
August 2, 2024Thank you for sharing your positive experience!
The facility is old, but there is an efficient maintenance staff. “Independent living” has slip-slided into openings for anyone who can pay. This means that people who need help have to get by as best they can. No one is authorized to help them, unless they hire private assistance.

March 28, 2024May we talk to you further regarding your experience? Please call our executive director at (307) 635-6953.
My Mom lived at Pointe Frontier for about 2 years in the assisted living unit. It started out okay, but there was a change of executive director and things went downhill quickly. She had a very bad experience and I moved her out. If you are considering this place for your loved one-good luck to you.

June 28, 2023Thank you for sharing your positive experience! If there's anything further we can do for you, we are happy to help!
We had a great tour experience with Pointe Frontier Retirement. All of the staff we encountered were very helpful and informative. The main reasons we did not choose this facility was because it was more expensive and also the facility itself we felt had a weird floorplan/layout.

May 31, 2023Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about your experience with us.
They are very friendly. They can improve on the consistency of food quality, and increase assisted living quality. We picked this community, because of the location, availability, and manager & sales rep. Understand your loved ones medical requirements thoroughly. They have nice apartments.

Response from Pointe Frontier Retirement
February 10, 2023Thank you for your kind review. Feedback is important to us as we strive to provide positive customer experiences.
This community is really dirty and they need to get it cleaned up. Especially in the assisted living side it is really dirty. The food is also nasty and they need to make changes with this. The CNA's and nurses were good but I think that they need more experienced management, they are nice but just not very experienced. If they got this community cleaned up and got new flooring and even painted, this community would be nice. They could use new furniture and carpet in the common areas.

We did not have to look anywhere else because we were so impressed with our tour and what we saw at Pointe Frontier. The apartment sizes at this facility are adequate for what our loved one needs. We are impressed that there have been been employees there for 31 years which showed us there is a good quality of work environment, happy employees means happy residents. I would absolutely recommend them to others.

A Place for Mom has scored Pointe Frontier Retirement 8.4 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
