Peterson Place

Peterson Place is a five in all categories. My sister and I were confident each visit that our mom was being taken care of. The staff and facilities were great in treating and taking care of our mom. They made it comfortable during a very hard season. It was a safe place. It was clean. They had different areas to sit for the family to visit. I think they are building another place on the same property. The women who are the owners are dedicated and this is their life and vocation. They have been doing it a long time.

I've never had an issue with the caretaking of my loved one. I have been there at different times of the day and night. It is always the same kindness, and care. It has never been an issue. The staff are able to keep my loved one clean, and you can tell they truly care about the residents. They are very attentive. The staff communication with the family is great! They will call the family if there are any changes of our loved one. The community works well with hospice as well. There are three meals a day and there are choices to choose from. The dining staff are willing to accommodate the residents requests when possible. There are activities available for the residents to participate in. Some of the activates include bingo, exercise, entertainment, and more for the residents to engage with. The staff try to keep the residents very hydrated.

The staff is very friendly and seem like they genuinely enjoy the residents.

I'm so grateful my mother in law is living at Peterson Place. It has a small occupancy. Especially during this time of Covid19. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure their patients are well cared for like family. I highly recommend them for your loved one who needs the best care.

The staff at Peterson’s Place have shown an ongoing high level of respect for their residents including my grandfather. Regardless of his ongoing challenges and frustrations presented with his impaired memory and cognitive abilities, the staff has remained patient, friendly, and helpful in assisting him to remain in good spirits while living in the facility.

It is a very difficult decision to have to place a loved one in the care of others. I researched and visited several facilities before deciding on Peterson Place for the care of my 95 year old mother. [name removed] (owner), [name removed] (managing RN), and the entire staff have been extremely professional and caring. They have not only taken excellent care of my mom the past 2 years as her dementia has progressed, but they have also been amazingly supportive of me. My decision to have mom move to Peterson Place has been one of the most positive decisions I have ever made!

Absolutely the best assisted living facility in the area. The staff is always very attentive to the residents, as well as the family members and guests. [name removed] is very good about commination with residents and family members. She is willing to take the time to cover any concerns. The owner, [name removed], very easy to communicate with. If she doesn't answer, she great at calling back. I have already recommended this facility to many people that are considering a home. The facility is always clean, without any odors!!

My mom was here only 4 days until she passed. It was very positive dealing with Peterson Place. It was a beautiful place It was always clean but the carpet needs more attention. The staff was very loving, attentive and compassionate. They were fully staffed and had a nurse on duty. The director was great and accommodating. I will recommend this to families and will use them again.

We're very happy with how things have turned out at this community! The facility itself is very nice looking, and has a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. The staff are all very friendly, and they seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. There is a good sense of camaraderie between the staff members, and they get along well with the residents as well! They're great about letting the residents be individuals, and everyone here seems comfortable and at home. They've got all kind of activities and events, and they have musicians come in fairly often! They also do an excellent job with the food here. They've got a chef who strikes a great balance between tasty, interesting food, but also making sure to stick to the nutritional guidelines required of them. It really is a great place, and we would recommend it to anyone!

The home is an older home and the maintenance wasn’t up to the level that would have made me happy. There were some things that were painted over when they should have been repaired. It was way out in the middle of nowhere so there were good outside areas and parking was fine. The staff seemed to be very good so I will give them a four.
