I've posted two other reviews that were based on short respite care periods. However, from our observations of how well she was doing during those periods, we discussed it within our family and decided to place my Mom there on a regular basis. It was a difficult decision since she has been in our home for over nine years. At the time of this writing it has now been over two months since we did so and we see that she is now "thriving". Her interactions with the other guests along with the excellent care she receives from [name removed] and [name removed] has set our minds at ease about our decision.... Read more

As moms needs shifted over a period of two years, a shift in the care she received changed as well. A serious lack of communication related to her needs, and frustration by the owner related to Moms new health challenges. The facility began to decline in the quantity of caregivers as well as the upkeep of interior and exterior of the building. The lack of empathy or compassion and level of unprofessionalism I never thought I would witness by these owners. We were not allowed to enter the facility to retrieve Moms personal items and were relegated to her personal items boxed in the garage, with little care or concern for the challenges we as her loved ones were embarking upon, new territory. I would not recommend this facility to anyone, who is counting on others to help support the needs and challenges your loved one may be facing today or approaching in the future.

My Mom has dementia and lives at home. My wife, brother and I needed some respite time in order to go on a much needed vacation. Pearl's was recommended to us by a health care professional who comes in to care for my Mom. We toured the facility and found it to be top-notch. We placed my Mom there for two weeks and it couldn't have gone better. She received attentive care, great meals and seems to have thrived in the time she spent at Pearl's. We are planning for another respite period in a few more months.

After touring several assisted living, and nursing facilities in the Atlanta area, we were told about this great place that is a small home, as far as its guests, but the plus was it’s an intimate home setting, which from our vantage point was a pleasant alternative to the larger nursing facilities, and it was also still in the price range of the other care/nursing facilities, so we decided to check them out after viewing that website. Well I must say, the positive energy in the home, the layout, living amenities, and the staff was even better than we could expect. Our father checked in there about 2.5 weeks ago, and is scheduled to stay there for at least for another week and a half. Since he has been their, he looks healthier, and according to him, he loves the place, he feels extremely better than when we checked him in to stay at Pearl’s Promise, and now he doesn’t want to leave, and I don’t blame him at all, this place is a nice, inviting, accommodating home, with a very hands on approach to caring for their guests. From our experience, I think Pearl’s Promise is an ideal situation for short to long term care for a elderly family member, or friend, even if they have special medical needs. They are staffed with qualified, attentive, nursing/healthcare professionals, and it’s a very homely feeling place, with attention to deal for their client’s needs and wants. They made a promise, and kept it! They are taking extremely great care of our father! 5 stars ?? for Pearl’s Promise!

We put my 91-yr old mother with dementia at Pearl's Promise for two-weeks for some much needed respite care. It had been recommended to us by an in-home caregiver. We scheduled a walk through a few weeks before needed to check it out the facility and personnel. We found the facility to be first rate - clean and well-appointed. Everything checked out so we went ahead and made a reservation. The care-givers at Pearl's are very attentive and provided everything that my mother needed. She got near-gourmet food - better than when she's home. They stayed in touch with us while she was there and everything went very smoothly. We were very happy with her time there and have already reserved dates for this fall. I definitely give Pearl's two thumbs up!
