Peachtree Village at Holiday Island

Think twice before placing anyone you care about at Peachtree. They promised they could address and deal with any issues my Grandma had including her lack of incontinence which we explained in great detail and held nothing back because we had concerns about placing her at Peachtree due to this issue (we have this recorded on a video call, among many other concerns we addressed). After trying to hold them accountable for the lack of incontinence care because she has had 3 UTI infections in less than 2 months I was banned from the facility and the reason given was I was upsetting other residents. However I had little to no interaction with other residents. I also made the director aware that she had consumed a beverage with alcohol at their Christmas party because I had to leave (I was not aware at the time that the beverage had alcohol) and also explained that she was not allowed to have alcohol per her doctor and her meds she was on and I wanted to make her aware. Absolutely a wonderful facility. It is clean and neat and updated. The rooms are beautiful, food is good. There are always employees around if you need one. The Activities Director, [name removed], is just amazing and really cares for the residents. She goes above and beyond with all the activities and decorating. This is a wonderful place for your loved one to live at.

I don't know where to even begin to thank the staff of Peachtree Village Holiday Island for their loving care and support they have provided for both my Mom and our family as we have begun this next chapter in Mom's life. We moved Mom into Peachtree 4 months ago. The Peachtree team helped us to not only manage the logistics of such a move, but the emotional aspects surrounding such a big change in all of our lives. As a family, we applaud the leadership and staff for their unwavering guidance, their patience (both with Mom and with us kids), their absolute professionalism and the strong sense of security they have provided for us all. Prior to moving to Peachtree Village Holiday Island, Mom's cognitive testing scored 18 on a scale of 1-30...the higher the score the better. At our physician's recommendation we all made the decision together that Mom should not be living on her own. Our hope was that the structure and professional guidance would enhance her daily life and comfort. Now, 4 months later, Mom scored a 23 on the same test! The only change we made in her care was Peachtree Village Holiday Island. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Through Peachtree, Mom has found her new "home"...that place where she feels like she fits in and is comfortable. Through Peachtree, our family has found that comfortable "home" we all like to go when we want to spend time with our Mom. Thank you!

They have just been fabulous. I had to put my mom there for respit care and they have just done everything for her. She hurt herself while she was there and they took her to the doctor and got her care and she has been having good experience.
