Disappointed

My mother lived in both Parkwood Meadows and The Arbors. Taking care of the elderly is not an easy job. My biggest complaint was lack of communication. Communication between management and myself and between the caregivers. This lack occurred in both places. Health issues arose and I was not informed. Medications were prescribed and I was not informed. I lived out of state and could not be there to keep an eye on things. I eventually moved her back to Arizona.

Response from Parkwood Meadows and Arbors at Parkwood Meadows

July 22, 2014

We are sorry we did not meet your expectations. You are correct - communication is a key component of quality care - especially for family that lives out of town. As you may or may not know we have had a change of leadership in the campus and are focusing on bringing our care delivery and customer service back to Americare standards. Please accept our apologies for your experience. Your comments will certainly be reviewed by our management team as we move forward. Thank you for taking the time to share.
