We moved our mother from a luxury senior living community in Lexington, KY to Parkview Manor in Danville, where we now live, after she needed more skilled care than an independent community could offer. At first, we were worried about the move, but unlike her previous facility which was close to lots of traffic, this is in a quiet wooded neighborhood setting, with a very nice park adjacent to the facility, making it more comfortable and homey. In addition, the staff is so kind to her, and we can drop in, anytime, to take her out or spend time with her without calling ahead. We have peace of mind and are happy with the decision we made to move her to Parkview Manor. If you’re looking for a place with a family atmosphere, a welcoming environment, friendly southern hospitality, and a great value, you should look into Parkview Manor for your loved one.... Read more

I would recommend the community to others. They are friendly, and informative. The communication could be better, not sure if this is because of COVID, or because they are busier. The administrative is also similar to the care staff.

The facility was clean. Staff seemed very personable. Some of the furnishings were worn and needed updating. Overall good impression.

My stay was only a month for some care after surgery. I was greeted with genuine friendliness and a caring attitude. The care I received was great. Lots of personal attention. Very short wait from ringing the "help" cord in my room until an attendant arrived. If there was anything I wanted or needed in food offered, I was accommodated.

Things have gone very well at Parkview Manor so far! It's a smaller residential style community, and it's got a nice homey, family atmosphere. The staff are all very friendly and take great care of the residents here. The facility itself is clean, nice looking, and well kept. Mom has told me that she really likes the food they serve!
