I would like to thank, A Place for Mom, and especially Natalie for all of her assistance , her advocacy in dealing with several issues and concerns at the management level. Park View at Cheltenham, located in Elkins Park, Pa. was chosen because of it's location. It is located in an area/community, separated and unattached to other dwellings. The pluses are, it is convenient to public transportation, a large shopping mall, a variety of dining restaurants or eating establishments, medical, dental and vision facilities are nearby, supermarkets and grocery stores, emergency and police, two local hospitals, churches, there is an nearby avenue or strip that consist of vendors and merchants, and center city is not far away. The cost of residing at Parkview at Cheltenham, is a money saver and one can live within a budget. The appearance of the structure, seems isolated because it is a three-story senior apartment complex, unattached located off a main street, behind a township building, free parking lot, lighted, also greenery and trees, and shaded sitting areas. The down side is , management. I would suggest an assistant for the manager, to aide in the volume of concerns, inquiries and resolutions in a timely manner.

My mother, at 11:00 am toured Park View with D. My mother was very impressed with the size of the apartment, the walk-in bdrm.closet, the many kitchen cupboards, the counter,where it could be used for many purposes, the amount of rent, the few amentities, nearby Cheltenham Mall,and free will to come and go as she please. Although their is no security of any kind for the residents, only the free well lite parking lot. Another plus for the interior of the building, is the potpourri stationed at every apartment shelf entrance and throughout the apartment complex.
