Orion Star Personal Care Home

This place has truly been a Godsend for my precious grandfather! We could not be more pleased with the round-the-clock care he receives from his wonderful caregivers. While his mental impairments can be challenging at times, he is so happy at Orion Star and loves being at “home”. I live out of state and visit as often as I can. His caregivers always have him clean, well-fed, and happy when I stop by. Previous care facilities in the area offered the complete opposite type of care. I’m forever grateful to the owners and caregivers of Orion Star for the loving care they provide.

My father-in -law has been here for over 2 years. When he arrived he was barely functional. He gained strength and stamina through activity, excellent nutrition, and watchful care. The staff and owners are just very superior to work with. My nieces, nephews, children and the entire family could not be more pleased with all aspects of his care and the attentiveness of all who work there. We are blessed that individuals such as these are available.

I cannot say enough great things about this property. The owners (husband and wife ) are wonderful, caring people who pay close attention to their caregivers as well as their residents and their families. My father has been a resident at this home for a little over 2 years. I believe he would not have survived had I left him where he was in 2016. After a few phone calls and visiting a couple of homes, I knew right away that Orion Star Personal Care Home was the right place for him. [Name removed] and the staff of excellent caregivers that work there are the most caring, patient and loving people that I have ever met in this field. They provide very healthy, good meals, and provide what ever care my dad needs (showers, laundry, exercise, etc.) As a retired nurse, my expectations of patient care are very high, and these people have not let me down in any way. My father suffers from severe dementia and needs a lot of personal care and patient people to provide his care. They have not let me or our family down in any way. I wish that I had known about [name removed] and Orion Star before my mother passed away. Many thanks to all of you at Orion Star.

We were so blessed to find this personal care home for our Dad. The care is excellent and the care givers take such good care of him. If we had left him in a nursing home, he would have died from the poor care he was receiving. When we found Orion Star and moved him there, he was able to walk again and blossomed under their care so well. We all are truly thankful for the great care he receives at Orion Star. He has been there two years and is so happy and well taken care of.

This property was our favorite but unavailable. This is the type of facility and care we would seek.

I requested places that would be in my location, that would let my dad be in a day program or stay overnight as needed but also when the time came he could move into. It was such a relief to have someone to help you with this search.i found a perfect place 5 minutes from my home. The caregivers are very kind and accommodating to my dad.. What a blessing A Place for Mom is.
