There is no internet or signal when it's windy which is most of the time. The food served is too spicy. There is a bad selection of activities and they rarely add requests. Good/helpful front desk staff members. There is NO view of the ocean so false name. I would tell others to go visit it first and ask to see the activities list. It is hard to get to know other residents there.

Be sure to ask what the current activities are before you move in. They do offer them, but the things they offer are just not for me. They have a program called Life Loop that shows all the activities for the day. At this time, there is no broadband internet availability in this zip code with any of the providers that I've contacted. And they're not able to accommodate dietary requests.

We appreciate the honest feedback and we are glad that you have been talking with our Executive Director and our Chef to address your concerns. We understand that CenturyLink cannot supply you with a personal internet connection, so the best solution is for you to take advantage of the building-wide Wi-Fi upgrade that should take place soon. Your dietary needs are of the uppermost priority for our Chef and his kitchen staff who say that they have several options available to you. If you have any additional dietary needs, please feel comfortable talking directly with the Chef. With regard to activities, all of our communities are filled with individuals who help shape our daily and weekly activities. Every month there is an all-resident activity meeting to determine what will be added to the calendar. We accommodate many, but not all activities, as some may not appeal to enough residents to be successful. Please feel free to attend this meeting and/or talk directly with our Lifestyle Director who is uniquely qualified to determine and lead group activities. Best, Oceanview Senior Living
Due to covid the cafeteria is still closed so the food is being delivered to their rooms. We spoke with our loved ones on Easter Sunday and asked what they were given for breakfast, and all that they were given was a box of cereal with no milk or no sugar. The reason behind that the staff said they ran out of food.

During the pandemic, all senior living communities were required to follow the most stringent CDC guidelines. The pandemic also triggered challenges that caused undue stress and strain on the staff. I had a good tour of this community. Everything went very well. The community looked nice. and very well maintained. The staff was kind, and informative. All my questions were answered. It is a nice place, but to expensive for my taste.

My Dad died, but when he was there they were really wonderful with him. He was temperamental and they were very kind and patient with him. The staff was wonderful and I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Do not recommend. Got our senior admitted after she chose this facility based on appearance, room availability and cost. Started out costing her $3200/mo, went up to $5100/ mo with no change in her care needs over a 6 month period. They keep drumming up charges for all kinds of things she does not need or want, condescend to her when we ask about them jacking up the rate, she eats virtually none of the food, unappealing. They charge her to announce activities, which she does not want. No effort to correct these issues after several attempts. She needed adjustment to her toilette for height, and after waiting 3 months we fixed it ourselves. Microwave broke, had to replace it ourselves. Don't do this to your senior. We are moving her out. Can pay for a private caregiver cheaper.

Our biggest concern is the way the food is served. The dining room setup is not done very well. They can have to wait up to an hour after ordering for the food to arrive. I think the cleanliness is fine. I have been pretty impressed with most of the staff. There are some little things that could be better, the laundry isn't always brought back promptly. The transportation to and from doctors appointments are a little limited, with only certain, days and times, or distances. That wasn't very clear.

I toured this location when I was looking into senior living options. I had a meal here, and a brief tour. From what I saw everything looked very nice, and the food was good. However, this place was just too expensive for me to really consider it as an option.
