The quality of the food has gone down. The value for the money is great. We picked this community, because it was close to home, the quality, it was the nicest, price point and I liked the people. Beautiful facility, and it stops there. !!! Their tier system is a total rip off. The quality of care was very poor, the food was average, if that. The activities, if you can call them that were joke ! My family and I complained constantly about the poor quality of care my wife was given. My wife was there for about 8 months and after our numerous complaints the director [name removed] told me that she would not talk to any member of my family, only me ! My wife broke her hip there and [name removed] literally gave us no information on how it occurred. It appears they were trying to cover up the circumstances of the incident. After my wife broke he hip I took her out of Oakmont and placed her at Mercy Care in Oakland. The care there was excellent. I was part of a class action suit. It was not about the care it was about things we were lied to about when we placed my wife there in 2018. Oakmont lost the suit. Terrible place !!!!!

I toured this facility and it was ok. Cleanliness was good, staff was very friendly. It just wasn't a good fit for my loved one.
This community did not have the level of care that we needed for out loved one. They had more mobile residents.
This community was nice it was just not in the budget that we were looking for with our loved one. The tour was not the best and we did not get all of the answers that we were looking for with everything
It was a terrible experience. They facility itself was beautiful and new. The food was below average The few caregivers are excellent, some were good, and some of the caregivers were just didn't do there job. They had a very high staff turn over. I had several meetings with the administration and they were way less than honest with family regarding wife's care.

The waterfront property is a plus but the experience with the staff you won't find anywhere else. Very friendly and kind people. The residents look happy.

My father is on hospice here and they are doing everything they can to make him comfortable during his last days. The people here are wonderful and provide quality care. I would recommended them to anyone.

This community was in our top choices of place we toured for my loved one. The building inside and out was beautiful with lots of different amenities. The staff was knowledgeable and gave great information during our visit. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of additional care for there loved one.

The Staff is great, the facility is newer and very clean. My mother is enjoying living there, and says the food is very good. They have lots of activities for their residents. And a resident is able to move into Memory Care from Assisted Living if needed.

I went on a tour of this community. They have nurses available. The community is pet friendly. There were a lot of nice activities offered to the residents. They also offer meals. I would recommend for a love one or friend.

The care has been great and they are doing a great job. I like the facility. There is nothing bad about this community.m My dad will be moving soon, he needs more help that they can offer. Everything was fantastic and they helped me with so much and even worked with me when things became too much.

Our loved one has been here for many month. This facility is such a disappointment with high turn over of staff. They have gone through three executive directors in less then a year. Our current directors main goal is to increase fees and income while not having enough staff to follow through with resident care. Many families are very unhappy and unsatisfied. Changes are underway, but it looks like many more months before we have any stability. Main Goal is to get residents in, with no idea of how they will retain their staff or quality of care. Many many many broken promises!

My mom's first weeks here in May seem to have run smoothly. The staff has been very helpful and the lead nursing staff are very insightful, including interacting well with my father.

The staff is very well trained and they are all very enthusiastic about their job. My loved one had been at two previous facilities and the overall treatment and care she gets at the Oakmont is far superior.

New place and new staff, have a lot of work to do to get it running smoothly. Staff have great intentions, just need more staff and better communication.

It is a brand new facility and it is beautiful. My father was one of the first ones to move in, and they have been great. being a new place there are still a few kinks that they are working out, but that is to be expected and nothing at all to fault them for. It is a great place, an incredible building, and the staff is extremely nice.

A Place for Mom has scored Oakmont of Mariner Point 5.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
