All 5s. Mom is very happy there. The community is very friendly. While there is regular bingo etc. There are some days that seem to lack a regular activity for residents to look forward to. All and all we are very satisfied. One suggestion - It would be nice if the weekly activities were available on NPW web page or somewhere. I like to see when mom has activities so I can plan around them .... Read more

We moved into Independent Living and then my husbands needs increased and then we needed to move to Skilled Care. The food was okay. I was happy with the room sizes. It was big enough for two people. I was happy with the staff.

It has been great having mom at the Oaks. Everyone is friendly and caring and there are so many activities I don’t feel mom will be isolated if I can’t get over to see her for two days. She loves the shopping trips and fell in love with Horrocks while we were out of state. If you ask a question, staff goes out of their way to get an answer if they don’t know the answer right off. Best move mom could have made.

We chose this community for mom because we toured it a liked it. It is what she needed. The caregivers are nice and caring. They keep it clean and kept up. The grounds are well landscaped. The food here is amazing. I would recommend this community to my friends and family.

I am happy with the care that my mom is getting here with the excellent staff . this is a safe and close community for us to visit . She is adjusting to the community . She is offered to activities , but is still not settled in . This is a big change (1)for my mom and she is taking it slow . I would highly recommend this for a great value and excellent care.

We toured this location when we were looking into care options for our loved one. Overall this seemed like a nice place, it was clean, well kept, and the staff were friendly. It was a bit more expensive than similar options we saw in the area, however.

A Place for Mom has scored NorthPointe Woods, a CCRC 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
