The moment I moved in I fell in love with the staff here. They have been helpful from the start. I pulled up with my son and his truck full of my stuff. A couple of nice gentlemen helped my family unload the truck and bring my stuff to my new room. This nice young lady gave me a tour of the facility. The nurses met with me on that first day just to introduce themselves and answer any of my questions. The kitchen staff is always so sweet and the food is good. A nice girl comes and helps me clean and do laundry. They have helped me with my cell phone and my insurance. I really appreciate them.... Read more

I was reluctant to move to assisted living. I have always lived on my own. My family and doctor we're very persistent that I needed the extra help. I have to say, as much as I hate to admit it, they were right. The staff here have been so sweet and helpful. It's like have 5 grandchildren around at any given time. I have a bad knee that I have always struggled through. With all the help I have to strain so much less and my knee feels better than it has in years. Don't be stubborn like I was, accept the help and you'll see a big change in your life.

I recently toured Northbrook and I have to say I am impressed. So many facilities that I have toured in my search have this odor to them. This one seemed so clean and actually smelled good. There were so many staff members running around helping residents. I am hoping to hear back from them soon. Wish me luck.

I have lived at Northbrook for quite some time. I know places like this often get a bad rep but honestly, I'm glad I chose here. The staff actually care about my well being. Not just the aides. The food is pretty good. The activities are fun. It's just a great community and I'm thankful to be here.

Staff I met seemed very busy but were helpful. Residents in common areas seemed fine. The facility is rather sterile - concrete and tile throughout - more of a hospital feel. I believe they do accept Medicaid if private resources are depleted. They do not offer 'Enhanced' assisted living options, which it appears mom will require.

Everything is fantastic at the home. I feel it is perfect and it was a good pick for my mom. I would recommend them to family or friends. i think the staff are wonderful.
