Noble Haven

The owner's son is in charge of the care home. Look him up on the internet. [removed] This guy runs the place. Be very careful. There are a lot of other good care homes in the area. Pick one that you can trust and do a background check first. This is what we found right before we made the decision to put our loved one there. Thank goodness for the internet. Avoid this particular care home for sure.

Noble Haven is a very small house so it should be easy to manage, but it does not appear that way. There often is not any milk or juice in the refrigerator. And the owner (Removed) keeps the toilet paper under lock and key. Maybe she thinks that her staff will steal...very odd.

I was impressed the minute we walked into the home. I got a good feeling and had a good talk with [Removed] and took the time to thoroughly answer my questions. . They have a board to write reminders for the staff, visits are always welcomed anytime of the day. For appointments they have a updated list for medications. It is always clean in every areas of the home. All the staff are very kind and listen to the needs of residents. They put show old western movies for her. She has variety of meals served family style and everyone eats together. Mom sits next to another woman who can talk with her. She get excited for bingo and mention she won $7! They also provide yoga, pizza and movie night, harpist and guitarist entertainment, hair and nail day for activities. Everyone is treated like family celebrating birthday and holidays together.

At Noble Haven the food selection could be better. Sometimes they run out of things like milk also. Overall it has been a good experience though. It gets all five stars from me.
