Mount Vernon Danbury

My mom loved living at Danbury! The staff was wonderful! At the end of her life we couldn't ask for any better treatment for her or her family.

It's so new so everything was nicer than where she was. But one thing about the memory care here. They have nurses station inside memory care whereas her last facility did not. Everyone is so nice. The cost I feel takes advantage of those who can afford it, making it impossible for those who can't. She needs more care now so I get that it went up. But when we moved her in, they only had the latest room available. She promised to call when a smaller room became available. Well, of course she did not.

I have recommended Danbury to others. We picked this community over other places because they had hired the best people from the other establishments.

We love the home life feel that Danbury gives you. The staff is great, and always available to answer any questions or concerns. The aids are compassionate and sweet to our mother. We have peace of mind knowing she is safe and cared for around the clock.

Friendly, caring staff

The staff is extremely caring and provides excellent service. The facility is tastefully decorated and very Inviting.

We were nervous about putting Mom in a facility, but have found The Danbury to be filled with Caring, attentive staff and are confident in their care. Overall the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and the staff really listens to our concerns.

My husband and I moved to the Danbury due to his need for more care then I could provide for him. It is a place where we can live and eat together as an independent resident and an assisted living resident. It is a very friendly and caring community. Everyone works hard to help us feel at home.

This is a wonderful place. If you can't be alone in your house this is a great alternative. The staff is caring and worries about your health. Thank please tell your people that need a place to live that they can't go wrong with Danbury. It is kept exceptionally clean and the staff is wonderful. Always a help turnover of course but it is a difficult job, and young people sometimes don't realize that.

After touring several different assisted living communities, Danbury has the best overall. New, clean, great dining experience, very friendly and amazing staff! Good value when compared with other comparable places.

Very qualified and caring staff. They remain in constant contact with respect to any changes in care and care requirements. Contacts provided are quite responsive to any inquiries or concerns. Very, very satisfied.

Great community. Lots of things for residents to do from cards to rides to lunch & parks, hobbies with help and guidance. The staff is helpful and considerate, aware of residents feelings. Management is involved with everything & work well with residents & staff, willing to listen and assist everyone.

Nicest place in Mt. Vernon to reside. It's always clean and safe. The staff are always willing to help you. I've been here 3 times and would come back again. There are plenty of activities.

All staff friendly & helpful. it's a great place for friends & relatives to visit. The bus trips are great and there are a lot of activities that are varied.

Moving to Danbury has been one of our best decisions. It is wonderful not having the responsibilities of maintaining our house and knowing the hard work of downsizing is behind us.
