The staff has changed a lit since Nov. So can't address staffing. AaThe place itself is very nice. Garden in middle is so nice and rooms are good. Love that bedroom was divided from living area. I have recommended it to several friends beginning parent care. Thank you for referring me there. We were blessed in many ways.

Staff has been very helpful and friendly since day one . They really helped us make a decision while looking for care [name removed] was probably the biggest thing/person that stuck out to us. To know that she understands what my family is going through and how she explained things and not just throw brochures or pamphlets at us also really helped . We also really enjoyed how it felt very close like family

Their director of celebrations [name removed] is amazing and very dedicated to making the residents happy and feel safe. She plans and leads activities and goes beyond the call of duty. The other staff is very caring and helpful.

The staff assisting him w daily dressing, meals, etc. are particularly kind and helpful. Truly caring. We know he is safe. The only complaint is that it was a little disorganized administratively at move in, trouble getting cable on, confusion about pharmacy, doctor visit, etc. Move-in communication was a little lacking. But since then, they are taking great care of dad and we are very pleased. Very smooth after initial confusions.

It's a good place. We picked this community because of the price and staff. I would recommend to others.

I visited a friend at Morada and played games, worked the jigsaw puzzle, and had lunch. The food prepared by the chef was delicious and the Activities Director's choices of games were so much fun. The residents really seemed to enjoy themselves. The rest of the staff were welcoming and friendly. The marketing for Morada is very well done. Kudos to all the staff!

We moved my mom to Morada Midwest City in November 2023. It has been the best place for her! The staff is all amazing. She has dementia and all her nurses and staff have been just wonderful for her. The food there is great and the cook is so sweet. You can tell she loves her job and treats every resident like she is their personal cook. My mom feels very loved and safe there. I’m so thankful that God led us to Morada. I know my mom will be well taken care of there and she calls it her home. Thank you for finding this place for us!!!!

I'd give all of these a 5 except meals, which gets a 4. I know it is a small place and they do the best they can. I think they've had some people in the kitchen out sick, so it's understandable. I just don't think a corn dog is a very good meal. That's only happened once, so maybe it's a one off. My mom doesn't go hungry and am thankful for that. Everyone is really nice and we're still settling in.

The staff at Morada Midwest City was overall friendly, but the Executive Director [name removed] needs to work on her demeanor. Myself and others noticed that she talks down to some of the other employees there. In fact, one employee said "that's just how she is." That is unacceptable from my standpoint. [Name removed], however, was WONDERFUL to work with. I would recommend Morada Midwest City for someone who does not have Dementia. My loved one does, so this facility was not the right fit for her.

We picked this community, because a small number of residents made it feel very warm and like a family. Everyone knows one another. The chef has been there for 20 years and is truly a chef and makes meals and dessert from scratch so the food is delicious.

We picked this community, because they had the only availability I needed. I couldn't asked for anything better. The management staff, the nurse's, head nurse, cooks and even the one who did the laundry were awesome.

April 26, 2023Thanks for the review and feedback, Christopher! We appreciate you taking the time to share with us, and we’re so glad to hear that you’re so happy with your loved one's care. Thank you again! – Team Enlivant
Parent group Enlivant is ruining Blue Ridge. Cutting the care, the amenities and it is just the dollar that comes first. The care comes second. Considering moving our loved one. Definitely has areas that need to be improved on.

They were unbelievably helpful in helping us understand how to get things done and what to expect. Most people fall into this whole thing and learn about it as they go, but they did a great job in helping us gain experience beforehand. I would definitely recommend Blue Ridge Place to others looking.

My loved one enjoyed the community and seemed to be happy here. The staff were respectful towards my loved one. The staff communication was good with the family and they kept us updated about our loved one. There were three meals a day served to the residents.

Our overall experience at Blue Ridge Place was great. My loved one's needs were little bit different because he's not vaccinated. After he moved in, they had some cases of Covid and quarantined him for ten days, which while it was reasonable and necessary was just not not ideal for him personally. They seemed understaffed, and some of the staff were not so great. I still think it's better than other places in the area. I just had to stay on top of things. But the director and upper level staff was extremely helpful. When I would bring issues to their attention, they were extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make not only our loved one feel comfortable but also our family.

September 7, 2022Thanks for the review and feedback! We appreciate you taking the time to share with us, and we’re so glad to hear that you’re happy with your loved one's care. Thank you again! – Team Enlivant
With any facility, Blue Ridge or any other, you're going to get out of it what you put into it. The more you're there with your loved one, I think the better service you're going to get. And I think if you're an absentee person with your loved one there by themselves, they're not going to get as much attention. We were there often and got good results. If I was unhappy with anything, I went straight up and told them. They staff responded well and helped quickly. They don't have enough people right now, which is standard in the industry. They're working overtime to meet resident needs. Overall I was pleased with them, and I couldn't' have taken care of my loved one the way they did in the end. I found their cost to be very comparable to other places.

Friendly staff and smaller facility. Like many places would be better with less staff turnover

August 16, 2022Thanks for the 4 star review, Dennis! We appreciate it. – Team Enlivant
Our deciding factor to pick a community was based on whether or not our mother was going to like the place and just from the tour she liked it. It was a really good first impression. The meals and dining service can sometimes be a hit or a miss but overall we would recommend the Blue Ridge Place community to other families searching.

A Place for Mom has scored Morada Midwest City 9.6 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
