I was to visit you Mom this weekend and was disappointed to see the upkeep of the apartment complex. Mom said that the lawn hadn't been cut since last fall. The hallways were dirty needing to be vacuumed. Mom said that they (residents) were suppose to take care of that. That is ridiculous! The residents are mostly in their 80's and 90's. They can hardly take care of their apartments. I was of the understanding that building and property upkeep is included in their rent. We moved her there so she didn't have to worry about upkeep. The lack of upkeep has caused her distress. Maybe there should be a resident that could live there and get a reduced rate to care for the building and grounds.

My mother has been living at the Midget apartments several years. For the most part she has been happy there. However, there has been a recent discovery of black mold in the building and there seems to be no interest in addressing the problem. I am very concerned for the health of my Mom as well as the other residents.
