The faculty is not fluent in English, but they are fluent in elder care! The place is clean and the meals seem good. The move in process and accessibility were good. My mom was a resident at Makarios Assisted Living at Yampa for 1 month and it was good for her high needs and terrible Alzheimer's. Having Hospice Care also there, along with the house faculty care, was also very necessary and helpful. I would recommend Makarios Assisted Living at Yampa to others.

We have been so happy with Makarios Assisted Living. It was the first place we toured and when we got here the staff was just amazing and my mom just absolutely loves it here. The room sizes here are pretty good, she has plenty of room for her things. It really feels like family here, they are all very caring and I would absolutely recommend.

The staff at Makarios treat my mother like family. She loves it there! They are always asking about ways they can improve mom's experience, like what food she likes. They staff is always friendly with us and my mother. The value of this community is clearly worth it. We would recommend it to anyone! The community has done a fantastic job of keeping my mother safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. The community has been on lock down, meaning no visitors are allowed to come in. We are allowed, however, to wave through the window, and we are allowed to drop of items to the caregivers who are happy to pass it along.
