My dad is at Magnolia Manor and doing well! I would rate a 4 on everything except #5.Administrative staff. For that one, I would rate a 3. They are friendly but some times it's hard to get a hold of someone or they're slow to respond. That's been a little difficult since my sister and I live in a different state. They go way above their duties. It takes special people to work day in and day out dealing with the memory care unit. [names removed] are excellent. Thank you for taking such good care of my aunt.

I understand how hard it is to find quality staff. However, there has been a lot of complaints about one of the nurses at this facility. (Not [name removed], which no longer works there) I personally experienced it myself on a Friday evening at 6pm. I was called and told my family member was out of medication that he takes everyday. This is a very long drawn out story but I was 4 hours away at the time and practically had a meltdown over the phone with her. My expectations of every single issue that comes along isn't at the very top however, had I known this before 6pm in a Friday it would not have happened this way. My sister and I are happy with Magnolia Manor. Our dad is safe, clean clothes, clean sheets, 3 meals a day, happy neighbors, he loves being there. I do have a problem with who is planning the medicine dispensing. I'm not trying to say micromanage everything. I'm just wanting better skilled healthcare providers (mainly nursing staff) with a pleasant attitude and good communication skills!

I would recommend it. The other residents are friendly, the staff is caring, the food is good and I'm confident my dad is receiving good care. He is happy there as well. We picked this community for its location, the staff and overall feel of the community.

My loved one is currently a resident at Magnolia Manor at Tupelo and the experience has been very good so far. Communication with the family is good. The food and housekeeping are both good, also. My loved one has certainly been accepted with open arms. We are pleased with our decision to move our loved one to Magnolia Manor at Tupelo and would recommend this facility to others.

This place is not fit for my dogs. The whole website is bogus. They don't do activities with the memory residents and they don't feed them either. My 2 year old eats more than what they provide. It always smells and stick to the floor. They don't assist in anything. But they will tell you need to have a 24 hour sitter to come in with your loved ones. Exactly what are we paying you for then. I definitely won't ever recommend this place ever.
What we really like about Magnolia Manor is that the staff are relatively responsive and the community is used friendly. We have not had a meal there ourselves but our loved one seems satisfied. There are also extra curricular activities for our loved one that are not usually provided and that is their beauty and nail salon. What we think they could improve on or just maybe do, is the residents could get lonely at times being in a community and for families who aren't able to visit they could have support groups, or people from other communities come over and visit with the residents,

Everyone was really friendly and accommodating, especially on the first day when he moved in. They gave us dollies and anything we needed to get his furniture moved in. His room was repainted and spotless within a day when we needed a quick turnaround on move-in. My loved one commented on how nice his nurses were. We did have communication problems with Angela, the head person. She wasn't really prompt about getting back to us, if she even did. They had lots of different activities if you chose to participate - things like church, singing, puzzles. Overall I would highly recommend it for elderly people, and maybe less so for special circumstances like ours with a much much younger loved one there for unconventional reasons. It was a very nice facility with no stereotypical odors and was kept very clean.
