Angels Too is a personal care home (one of a set of three houses). Located in a house, the facility is truly a home, something that my parents had craved during their time in an assisted living facility. When my dad's health declined, their previous "home" would not keep him. When I found that Angels could take care of both my parents, with their different health levels, and they only have 6 bedrooms with a limit of 8 residents, I was pleased. They have staff at all times. The most important thing I have learned since then, however, is the level of love and care the staff, (especially the supervisor, Melissa) give to each of their residents. With the intimate environment, they can build a relationship with their residents. Melissa and the owner, Cheryl, have also helped me with insurance questions, finding resources, and other confusing paperwork . I am truly pleased that my parents have found a real home!... Read more

I was hopeful that this was the perfect place for my mom. Things started out right and I believed they were providing all that my mom needed to be comfortable and happy. But, I learned they did not provide the "transfer assistance" necessary for my mom to safely move from bed to wheel chair to toilet to dining room chair etc. I understood this to be a service they could and would provide. By not providing this transfer assistance I believe this contributed to her depression and made her fearful of falling. In the end they failed her. They left her unattended for 2 hours during the routine waking hours of the morning. During that 2 hours my mom [removed]. I am thankful she has survived and we have moved on to care that is more appropriate for her needs.
