The owner explained everything thoroughly, and was very transparent about what was covered and what we were paying for. At this home, the owner prefers to take care of all of the random fees and costs involved in putting your loved one into an adult family home, and then that goes into your payment. Other places wanted us to take care of those fees and costs with individual agencies. My mother has now been there about 3 months, we have found the caregivers to be very caring and savvy about people with dementia. They keep a good schedule of meal times and activities, which is important for people with dementia. They have pet and music therapy. Families are asked to let them know when we will be coming by in order to keep that schedule and not interrupt anything, but they are always very welcoming. Also, my mother's health has improved under their care. She regained her appetite and looks more vibrant and healthy. We are more than happy with our experience thus far at Langland House.... Langland House provided such attentive and quality care for my mother. The activities and memory care services at Langland House are excellent. They also go above and beyond when dressing my mother in her favorite outfits and even do her makeup. The food they serve is always fresh and delicious. I’m also so impressed with the care and services they provide. The staff are so caring and attentive. My mother is so comfortable and happy at the Langland House!

Langland House is a really great place. The staff there is wonderful, and the director, Nancy Lee does a great job. She always gets right back to me (almost immediately) when I need something. My mom is really happy at Langland House, and I couldn't ask for anything better.

A Place for Mom has scored Langland House 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
