La Orinda Care Home

As far as community goes the neighbors keep pretty much to themselves but it is located in a very nice neighborhood. Feel safe there. As of now and would recommend to a friend that would need this type of care for a loved one. They do a tremendous job.

We really like the place and the staff members at La Orinda Care Home. They have really done a good job caring for our loved one. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend their services to other families. Thank you for all your work.

They are very caring they communicate well and always keep the people clean and the house itself is clean and set up very nice with good food.

What our family likes the most about the La Orinda Care Home is the space, the space is really nice. The staff members there are attentive. The other residents that live there are friendly. We like that it is a smaller place. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend the La Orinda Care Home to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

We are Very Satisfied with the care of my Mom at this facility. What stands out to us about this facility is that it feels like a real home and not just a place to put a loved one that needs special care family can no longer provide. Also the overall brightness of home and grounds. The 2 ladies that care for residents are absolutely AMAZING!! They genuinely care about each individual resident. They have little activities for the holidays and birthdays. They do all laundry. They are wonderful cooks and provide tasty meals. I would definitely recommend this Home to someone looking to place a loved one in a Care Facility.

La Orinda Care Home is the perfect place for my sister. She has lived in several larger, more institutional assisted living communities and was not happy in any of them. She has transitioned well into this lovely board and care house, which has become a home for her. The house itself is clean and light, with a small backyard that my sister enjoys very much. The homey environment is perfect for her. She interacts with the other residents (only 6 total) and the caregivers who live on site. The level of care is excellent. The staff is wonderful, attentive, and kind. They have become like family to her. The owner could not be more solicitous. He has worked with me as sister and conservator of my sister) to make adjustments and additions to her care. He is always accessible and we communicate frequently. If you are looking for a homey environment for a loved one, I cannot recommend La Orinda enough.

I would really like to revisit this facility to see which room will be coming available and refresh my memory. It is very close to my home, and may be more in my price range. I toured with [name removed] current care provider. She was lovely and gracious, the home was even nicer then I recalled, so good investment to see again. At least 2 residents are socially interactive (+) and the care coverage is great. This would be my #1 choice. No available beds at this time, I would like to be on the waiting list.

My mom and I are so pleased with this community, it is a beautiful home in a very nice neighborhood with only 6 residents and my mom has her own room. All of the staff here are great with each and every resident and it shows that they really care about them. My mom says that even the food is good. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

Administer was very calm and patient answering questions. The level of care is excellent. Care providers are friendly, concerned and very observant. A long time resident told me that she has been in other homes and nothing has compared with the overall care and cleanliness of La Orinda. I am very satisfied with the care my husband is receiving.

Facility has lots of natural light; shared room was quoted as $2,500 - $2,800 per mo. which was fair price.

Nice and clean. Price $3500/mo. Concerned for ability to keep occupied.

Nice home and the room looked cozy. Very informal viewing. Cheapest of all six alternatives. Two caregivers at all times. Overall vibe, however, made me feel that not the best environment for my father.
